As your time as a Mercenary comes to an end, you have been given a choice: a choice between the honor and valor of a Knight, or the trickery and deceit of a Blade. You have chosen the path of valor.
Visit Knight Master Karandur
To begin your quest, visit (Knight Master)Karandur in Darken. To test your combat skills, she will tell you to kill 20 normal Drillers - not smalls, not giants, just normals.
Note: If you don't usually carry specific Blinkwings, it will be handy to pick up a Flaris, SaintMorning, and two Darkon Blinkwings before starting this quest.
Kill Kidler
Karandur, convinced that you are ready to be a successor to the Knight Hero, gives you a letter of recommendation and asks you to defeat
Kidler, a grave robber that she believes knows where the Golden Helmet of Billaon is.
Find the Golden Helmet of Billaon
The Golden Helmet is found lying on the ground behind the Quest Office in Darken.
Speak to Knight Wise-man Hormes
Once you have the Helmet, take it and your letter to
(Knight Wise-man)Hormes. He will ask you to now take the Helmet to
Kurmin.
Take the Helmet to Kurmin
Kurmin, grateful at being given the Helmet, will in turn give you a stamped scroll and advise you to find the eight stones that contain the souls of the Heroes, which have been stolen by
Wheelems.
Retrieve the Soulstones
Kill Wheelems until you have retrieved eight soulstones.

Once you have all eight, take the soulstones and the stamped scroll from Kurmin to (Knight Priest)Lobiet.
Speak to Knight Priest Lobiet
Lobiet is grateful to you, and gives you the Mark of Hero. She then sets before you the final task you must complete before you can become a successor to the Knight Hero: you are to find the
Venel Guardian, residing in the place where the Will of the Heroes is protected, and take its heart.
Defeat the Venel Guardian
Find the Venel Guardian, and defeat it to retrieve its heart.
Visit Knight Guardian Bonepar
Enjoy the moment as you forever say goodbye to the mercenary class. Walk up the floating bridge and be proud on reaching level 60. Give your yourself a pat on the back. Take a screenshot of yourself before you officially become a Knight and post it in our forum to show off!

Upon presenting the Heart and the Mark of Hero to
