Buying a Board or Broom
To fly, you must first reach level 20. Then go to the [Station] NPC in SM, Flaris, or Darkon. Make sure you have some money to buy a board or a broom. The fastest brooms and boards that you can buy from the [Station] NPC cost 200,000 penya. The lowest price for a board/broom is 5,000 penya.
Besides the NPC boards, you can also purchase Cash Shop boards, or browse the marketplace to see if any are for sale. Beware, they are very expensive.
Cheap brooms/boards will fly slowly, while the 200,000 penya broom and board are the fastest of the NPC boards. The Cash Shop flying devices are much better looking than the NPC boards and brooms and some Cash Shop flying devices are the fastest you can find in the entire game.
Flying Tips
Here are some simple tricks to get you started.
- To Fly, double click your board. A loading timer will come up.
- Press the spacebar to accelerate your board, press spacebar again to decelerate.
- A, S, D, W keys will turn your board
- Hold down the Right Mouse Button to turn as well
- Double click Right Mouse Button to auto engage without holding down the button.
- Double click your equipped board in your inventory to dismount the board
The world of Flyff barely has any boundaries. You can fly to almost any place the mood takes you to. However you will find areas which you can not go through or go over. If you ever get stuck/glitched in these areas, use your teleport from the emoticons menu.
