Using Dexterity or Alcarity to increase it's power, the Bow is a slow shooting weapon that uses arrows which you can purchase at the General Store at each of the three towns in FlyFF. While the attack speed may not be as fast as the Billposter's knuckles or Blade's swords melee combat, the bow user makes it up by being able to attack from afar. And because a bow user, in particular a Ranger, only requires Dex to increase their attacking power, they do not need to allocate their valuable skill points to any other unneccesary stat such as Intelligence.
