I am guessing you mean FPS(Frame Per Second) when your logged in press CTRL+F the lower you got the more you lag and the other way around

well, you first have to find out the ip address of the flyff version and server you play in. Then, its simply a matter of sending a ping request to the ip address, which can be done via command prompt

If your talking ping i'm guessing your referring to the Ping thats seen in some screen shots. And i'm pretty sure its a GM tool.

WRONG.

A "Ping" is when one computer sends a message to another computer and that computer sends a reply back to the first computer (ur PC). The Ping is the time it takes for the ping process to occur. Ping times are used to determine how well your computer, their computer, the network are operating, and most importantly, how far away you are from their network/database (whatever you call Flyff's thingie) Ping are usually measured in milliseconds.

So, I play SOldier Front, and my ping is around 180-200, that means it takes around 2 seconds for a signal to go from my PC, to the network, and back to my PC. A good PC would have around 5X-7X< and if you're close to San Jose, have a good PC< then you'll even have a 1X ping.

How do you find it? I have no idea. In CounterStrike, you can press tab(tab for me, i changed it), and you can see your score, and you can see your ping. In Soldier Front,you can do the same thing

ping is just a unix tool, also ported to windows, which sends a ICMP echo request and measures the time until the request answer.
the meaning got widened to the general round-trip time.

not sure if flyff servers are actually open for ping, since you could flood a computer with echo requests to choke its network connection. easy countermeasure is close the port for ping.

a ping of 200 is not 2 seconds. 1000 milliseconds = 1 second.

2 second ping would be laggy as hell.

Morons I was referring to the little Ping 300ms that you can sometime see in Screenshots. Which is only available if your a GM.

you dont actually need to be a gm for that.

Though thats why most screens from 'non-official' servers seem to have it
