I installed Flyff patches and game guard Pathces but it keeps closing after i start it, it loads and you press START then game guard shows up and Doesn't do anything or load at all and then it closes... Think it has something to do with an anti virus program or what? its at school, so i dont know, and im really relucatant to ask lol... may get in trouble or cant play it ya know.... so any help plz with why Game guard Starts doesn't do anything but closes after few seconds thx.

Game guard shows up says something then Says Authenticating, then few seconds later it closes. School uses Symantec Antivirus Coporate Edition, Don't think they will allow me to turn it off or use administrative account for it. But I was wondering if There is Different Problem if what Because I would have thought something would have popped up saying its blocked or what ever....

ill see today or tommarow about them letting me add flyff to windows fire wall Exception list, But im going take guess its the firewall thats not letting me but If that was the Case, I do not see why It would let me bring up the starter then start it, without saying anything then it Closing at the Game guard.... but meh sorry should have just talked to school about letting me play flyff lol, cuz i work so hard ^^;; but ya im trying play it and avoid talking to them haha....

You play that at school? What grades do they give you per level-up?

Anywho, back to the point: does the same happen on any pc in there? Tried reinstalling (well, worth to ask, though, my guess is, it won't solve it) or rebooting yer pc (you never know; that solved some of my GG problems)?
Either way, my assumption is that there's a conflict causing Windows to terminate the FlyFF process. When it just hangs or closes on its own, it's definitely not the antivirus.

My typical advice would be to update any needed drivers and see if conflicts persist, but seeing as you're at school, no way you'll get to do that.

Well game guard is counted as a virus so yes, depending on how sensitive firewall they got it really can be the firewall stopping game guard

I think you have to re-install Flyff...

If you have ESET Security... You're lost beacuse GameGuard trust that your computer have a virus
