you can't trade the gp directly so you're basically paying for a cs item but doing it in terms of gp instead of the item. i guess it cna be cheaper for some things.

oh yea, and to do it the person with the gp has to buy the item and trade it to the person buying gp from them.

So basically, xxm/100 means they'll pay xxm for every 100 gpots they need in items. So let's say they wanted a 15 day az ticket (600) and a fullshout 15 (250)
They would then have to pay for (600 + 250) = 850 gpots, at the rate asked. So if the rate was 11m per 100, they would have to pay 93.5m for both of those items.

To add on to what STAN3x said, it's simple cross-multiplication. You have a simple equation like this: (x)mil/(y)gpots=(x2)mil/(y2)mil. Plug in the numbers you want and then just crunch everything through a calculator.

An example would be 8mil/100gpots=(x)mil/200gpots. To figoure out (x)mil, multiply 8mil by 200gpots and 100gpots with (x)mil, you'll get 8mil(200gpots)=100gpots([x]mil), or 1600milpots=100xmilpots. Then divide both sides by 100, you'll get xgpots=16mil. This means that whatever the 200gpot item is, it's worth 16mil in Penya (give that the exchange rate is 8mil/100gpots).

Sorry if this post seems redundant to STAN3x's post, but I felt like people should -know- how these calculations are done so the Shout Channel doesn't get flooded with "880mil=how much gpots nao?"

Maybe we should just make a table of xgpots=ymil for the people who are too lazy to figure it out for themselves. Too bad inflation would quickly ruin the table though..

Uhm actually from the way I see it it's a lot more simple.. xxM/100 is basically saying :
Ill buy gpots, Offer me. xx meaning a value [ a rate of penya per 100 gpotatos ]

While technically correct, you don't really need to go though that. You can do the short version. (gpots/100)x penya= total cost So if you're buying 2000 gpots at 9 mil each it'd be (2000/100) x 9mil = 180mil.

Not really, she's just showing the basic equation you always use when calculating it, then doing the multiplication backwards. Kamui's way is prolly easier for most ppl to get though

I think I understand. The person paying xxM/100 gpotato basically is looking for someone that has unspent gpotatos? Then they make an order? Like "I want full shout, spros and cupid wings"? Then the people with the gpotatos buys what he/she has ordered?

Too put it pure and simply

someone asks for one set of Gprots and a Fullshout

Gprots: 500 GP
Fullshout: 250 GP

They would owe you 50 mil for the Gprots and 25 mil for the Fullshout about as simple as it can be.

When they are saying 10m/100gpots meaning that they will
give 10mil for every 100 gpots the item is worth
