I was thinking of a new build for my ranger, and seeing how dex doesn't add much block for me, since i got max block already, how would this build sound ??? So maybe i can have a chance in pvp with higher hp.

Base Stats

Str : 15

Sta : 100

Dex : xxx

Int : 15

Wonder if anyone has tried this much sta before?

Meh, Im not a guru of rangers, but I think that 100 sta is pretty much overkill.
I agree that adding SOME sta may be handy in azria when you have maxed block rate and damage is good enough adding an hp cushion can help indeed. But 100 sta seems far too much, since damage would drop kinda a bit, and you risk to lower your block rate too. I'd try with a 40-50 sta, MAX 60 if you really really want to get some hp, but 100 seems really too much.
Also, 100 STA won't make any better in pvp since ranger's damage is already low if not pimped with ultimates or so, taking off all that dex may backfire on you, I think :x

Since you have a nice attack rate, I'm guessing you also have nice equips to go along with it.. I think Wink has 100+ sta (not 100% certain), but she's master x:

From the looks of your equipment and such, I would say it'd work.. but I'd only recommend it for the purpose of PvP; leveling wouldn't call for that much STA (as you probably know)

Anything over 60 sta is kinda overkill. I used to have 80 sta, and when I restatted to 40 sta, it was INCREDIBLY easier to level for me. I would say no more than 50 if you're talking about leveling efficiently (unless you have unbelieably amazing +dex equips & awakenings).

And Mei is right recommending it for PvP--I can't remember who told me off the top of my head at the moment, but I remember one of the higher leveled rangers recommending something about 60~100 sta for PvPing.

I think 100 is too much for general play. It isn't STA that keeps you alive when AOEing, it is having an assist heal you!

If you can't kill quickly, then from Syliaca onwards the chained crits will kill you, regardless of your STA. It's not possible to feed faster than crits hit.

Thanks for the comments, I wanted to reach near 30k hp at lvl 100 - M with no eel, so i was thinking of getting a higher base sta. Might as well jus go full dex.... Or at tops 50 sta again, like i lvled from 80 - 119. My gear - pets - etc adds to me over 140 dex.

Attack Rate at lvl 119 - Buffed was 4k +
