Who to be?
[Answer] YJ vs BJ vs Ranger
This gives a great, thorough analysis of all the different subclasses of an acrobat. Definitely read this thread for a clearer understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, and playing style of the different builds available.
Yoyo Jesters
Pros
~ 1-1 very well, arguably the second fastest 1-1 class after blades
~ can CW decently at higher levels
~ Pvp fairly well
~ Very good at gianting thanks to counter
Cons
~ Become completely GT dependent at higher levels, which is also completely RM dependent
~ 1-1 is allot slower than aoe
~ have to keep up two 1:20 self buffs
~ Really need a +8 set or higher to preform well
Bow Jesters
Pros
~ Easy to level
~ have a high block rate
~ Easily reach 100% crit rate
~ can level with BP buffs or a leecher with an RM
~ Giant very well with their block rate
~ can restat to yoyo when they are done levelling for pvp
~ don't need a high +ed set and lvl perfectly fine with just a +3 set
Cons
~ level pretty slow at higher levels
~ aren’t that great for pvp while using a bow
Rangers
Pros
~ Level fast due to being aoe
~ have a pretty good block rate
~ have a fair few skills to play with
~ Their gear can be pretty cheap
~ Can make allot of money aoeing in Azria
Cons
~ can’t 1-1 very well
~ aren’t that great for pvp
~ need a +6/8 lvl 75 set to reach their potential
COMPARISON: 1v1; Well everyone knows ranger aren't built for 1v1, so it goes down to yoyo jesters and bow jesters, it is pretty much yj lvl faster but bj level easier
AoE; while a bj can aoe with arrow rain at higher levels they are just way too outclassed by rangers in this
Gainting; same for 1v1, while rangers can giant they can't do it well overall. Both kinds of jesters do well with this, yoyo jesters with counter attack and bow jesters with there block rate
Cost; ranger gear tends to be fairly cheap, and same for bj except maybe a decent lg bow, yoyo jesters however can cost a fair bit since unlike a bj they need a high +'ed set to pull your optimal damage
PvP; in the arena it's most definitely yoyo jesters, but rangers and bow jesters can be useful for some targets, like rangers silenting mages and bps
Seige; both rangers and bow jesters fail here due to the massive amounts of cs used but yoyo jesters can still do pretty well :>
Guild Wars; since there is no cs involved in these all classes can be pretty useful, it mostly depends on your opponents
Clockworks; soloing it? yoyo jesters definitely, pretty hard for a bj to solo cw compared with a yj, i don't think a ranger has ever soloed cw before but meh who knows o.o
Looks; it's all your own opinion here, depends what you like xD
Popularity; rangers tend to be less popular, while bow jesters are one of the more popular classes (especially at lower levels)

Useful Guides for All Acrobats
The Acrobat Family Guide
This is a great guide that goes over nearly all the builds out there for beginners and gives you step by step tips about leveling for your acrobat. It is highly recommended that you read other resources for more build-specific details, but this is a great overview for all beginning acrobats.
Rangers: Masters of the bow by Cascadia
This is a great guide for learning the basics about rangers and get an idea of what rangerdom is all about :3
AoE Ranger's Guide by guorbatschow
This is a healthy, hearty guide full of juicy details about how to become an awesome AoE Ranger- I highly recommend it ^^
Ranger's Refuge
This is a community thread for all rangers to come together, talk, and inquire about something ^^ .. There is also an FAQ which covers most of the questions you might have unanswered, and attempts to provide a more thorough and straight forward understanding of rangers.
Yoyo Jester Links
~ Yoyo Jesters: Built For Power ~ by SilentXHiLL
This is a guide more geared towards more advanced players who are aiming for high damage on their Yoyo Jester. For players who are less experienced, read the Acrobat Family guide for assistance
Yoyo Jester Guide - All You Need To Know. by Icers
This guide gives thorough detail and explanation about the yoyo jester class, and is in a way an "update" of Silent's guide, including other details, facts, and figures written by the author. Like the guide above, this is a guide geared for higher leveled jesters.
Jester's United
This is a community thread for jesters to come together and discuss their own jesters or seek help [mainly geared towards Yoyo Jesters]
Bow Jester Links
BowJesters, and you. by SpiritDragon23
This is a great guide for bow jesters to look at, and provides some insight on how to become a great Bow Jester :3
-----------------------------
This sticky will constantly be under construction and is open to any feedback you may have. I am always looking for new guides and threads to add, so do not be shy to suggest them :3
This is not a thread for you to ask questions on. Please do not reply to this thread unless you have some constructive criticism or suggestions.
Wow! This is very well done. Keep up the good work~
Just a suggestion...maybe you should seperate the community threads, putting them under a 'Community Help' title or something along the lines of that. This seperates them from the guides so people know exactly what they are gonna be looking at when clicking on the links. It's up to you really, as I said, it's very well done so it's pretty hard to improve it.
well it's not bad...except for the bj part...um actaully just re-read it, and there seems to be alot of crap in there, thou some of it would help peeps
lol re-did the first part of that guide, but i think i missed several things

Thank you for the suggestion; I didn't want to make a separate section for it because there would only be two links x: .. but was thinking of someway to distinguish them from guides. I added a star now, instead, to distinguish them as community help threads. Does this help, you think? x:

Well, it is the only guide/thread created so far which compares them all on one post, and as mills mentioned, goes through them fairly well, minus a few spelling errors and such. Unless there is a better guide to link, I think it's fine for now, as, it is a common question which does need to be addressed.

np x3, i'll pm ya if i when i can think of what i missed
i actually might make up my own version of the second part of his guide cause there seems to be a fair few mistakes and the way he words things can be confusing =x
but at least he tryed and got most of it right :3
but right now i got school and stuff so i'll prob do it when i get home
What I did: The "Class-Specific Guides and Resources" section is better off if it is split, at least since the resource numbers are currently unbalanced, due to splitting the Jester class into the two build types. Besides, the way it is now, it appears that the "Jester's United" community thread is only helpful to Yoyo Jesters, even though it should be linked for Bow Jesters as well. Since linking the same thing twice is rather redundant, maybe it's a sign that the content should have been divided differently in the first place. Which is what I did in my suggestion.
Also, I replaced every [url] you had in your post with [thread]. Why? Because vBulletin systems treat "raw" [url]s different from [threads]: the latter ones are considered internal links (as they should be), have a proper title (hover over them with your cursor), and, probably most importantly, are not forced to new windows as external links are. This means that people can view this thread, find the link in your list and immediately follow it without opening 184816592 browser windows along the way.
End re-educating-a-mod-about-vbulletin-bbcode-tags-and-quadrupling-ego-along-the-way.
Also, apologies to anyone who is not accessing FlyFF World with a standard mouse + GUI environment (e.g. mobile phone, speech synthesis), in case it doesn't make any sense to you.
By the way... "Jester's United" is actually an obvious grammar mistake... am I the only one noticing this misplaced apostrophe? You could change it, right meimei?
EDIT: I forgot to mention: There is a rather new "YoyoJester Guide - All You Need To Know" thing in the making at the moment. Not like I could actually tell, as I'm pretty oblivious to the whole Acrobat branch, but I think it looks pretty decent (compared to some other guides in that section). You may want to think about linking to it as well when it's finished, or maybe even now already. Your call.

Reason: forgot the new YJ guide

I purposefully put Jesters' United under only the Yoyo Jester because, while it is open to all discussion related to the Jester, the majority, if not almost all the posts talk about the Yoyo jester. The reason for this is that the bow jester is a more straight-forward class which does not require much discussion x: .. also, I did include in the commentary that it is open to both.

I actually prefer my links to be opening in a new window xD .. but since you brought it up, I have designed it now so that if people prefer the links to open in the same window, they can :3 .. so thanks for that suggestion ^^

Actually, I don't have the power to change titles and the way they show up. I can change the title, but it doesn't change the title displayed, as I'm only a section moderator.

Thanks for that link :3 I looked through the guide and it looks pretty good, so I linked it ^^
But yeah, thanks for your hard work and help :3 .. The reason, by the way, I'm keeping community threads linked under the picture is because, well, one, Ranger's Refuge isn't just a community thread. It contains a mini guide in the beginning, which would mean that Jesters' United would be alone xD;; .. another reason is because, as I said earlier, I don't really like how it's randomly placed with just two links like that @-@;; .. and, finally, since I have them starred now, and since I have a description below regarding the links, I think it should be all right that way.
And yes, the resources may be a bit "unbalanced," but in the end, it just works out that way because there are less resources for bow jesters, really, and it's never going to be perfectly balanced regarding the amount of resources available for each class x:
Anyway, I'm more than open to hearing more suggestions if you have them :3 .. Thanks again for your help. ^^
