Hey, my Ranger is about to go Level 65 (probably tonight). I'm 64 at 7x% exp. Anyways, are there any level 65 skills I need or are required for Rangerhood?

here's my skillset:

max perfect Block (and the previous skills at prereq. levels)
max Arrow Rain (and prerequisites at minimums)
max Arrow Mastery
Max Junk Arrow
max Ice Arrow
max Fire Arrow
max Poision Arrow

leaving me with 26 skill points available to me right now at Level 64. I do have my Event Reskill still (from job change).


Any recommendations? Should I use reskill and get rid of Junk Arrow? I like gianting and it seems to be the only way to get damage through

You don't need max Poison Arrow, unless you enjoy to PvP with it. Even then, Junk Arrow and Auto Shot may be better choices. Arrow Mastery is also somewhat useless at this point in your Flyff life because you're doing high damage, and +20 damage isn't going to make or break your performance (which is how much additional damage Bow Mastery gives you).

You can keep Junk Arrow if you wish, but the main skill I would aim for is Fast Shot, at lvl 65, for the faster attack speed. If you will always have an RM/FS with you with max haste, you'll only need to get a Fast Shot around lvl 5 or so to get 100% attack speed (depending on your build and equipment).

So, in my opinion, I would reskill, get rid of Poison Arrow, Arrow Mastery, and Junk Arrow. Put some points into Fast Shot (lvl 65 skill, since you like gianting), max your AoEs, Perfect Block, and save 30 points to master Piercing Arrow (lvl 70 AoE). The rest is up to you. Add into Fastwalker for faster gathering (= faster leveling), or add into something else, like a PvP skill, if you enjoy PvPing, etc.

Also, if you have the funding, consider getting the Rorend/Rorient Helm or Boots for gianting (which give +5% Crit each), or a GBow (+20% Crit). I've found them to be quite helpful for gianting.. but only if you have the money, of course.

I dont know that much about Rangers, even though I have one, but Poison Arrow is useless I heard. And gianting... With a Ranger? I dont know. Bow Mastery is the worst skill ever. Um about the level 65 skills... Id have to check what they are. Ill edit this post.

I've actually got full Rorient+3 set already and a Gbow+6 (traded my BP's old Gknuck+6 for that plus 20 mil), so I'm all set on that . I'll max Fast Shot and then when I need points (I have enough to do it with 1 point to spare, i'll use the Event Reskill. Don't wanna screw it up

I did it without using my Event Reskill. I'll use it at 70, then
