perfect int aoe build?

a friend of mine (bp) told me bps receive their max block rate at 150 dex. i was a bit skeptical so i went to see him fight at popcranks. he has 107 dex when fully buffed and he blocks very often. now if i were to make an int aoe build it would go something like this:

str:15
sta:15
dex:110
int: xxx

110 dex because i have statted equip and a low accord which gives me 5 dex, plus cannon ball would give me 150 dex. even though billst gives 21% block i don't want to take any risks and lower my dex.
i have a billst set+7 (in total gives me 21% block), i can buy an int shield with 25+ int and also int rings. in the future i will upgrade my billst to +8 or higher.

so experts, will this work out?

How well of a freind is this?

Honestly it would be a waste of a restat have your freind grab about 10 to 15 mobs and see what happens.

i've known him for 2 years, but thats not the case. i even saw him with 107 dex. he blocked very often. now with 150 dex+ a billst, i am sure i would block almost, if not all, hits.

yes block, you're not exactly a blade/ranger. Who's AoE damage relies on dex, also the bp class has the second best sta-hp modifier thirdly you'll become even more fail of a Pvp'r though that may not matter.

that's why i add int after i add my dex >_> plus i can buy int rings and a very nice int shield, won't set me back much. this is a leveling build btw, i know in pvp i won't do well (except against blades and bjs 8D) just wanting to know if it would actually work, i have everything ready, just need opinions

Max block rate is 80% with no STA you would fail

As Sigh. mentioned, bps have the second best hp modifier in the game. They also have prevention. That's an aoe bp's strength, so why not use it? 80-120 sta the rest int it the build to go for. Blades and rangers get away with a high dex build because dex adds damage to their aoes, and because blades have the highest block modifier and rangers have perfect block. Adding dex as an aoe bp just won't give you as much benefit as adding sta would. It's a creative idea, and if you want to try it go ahead. It might work, but it's not really playing to a bp's aoeing strengths.

The Thing is that blocking very often isnt going to make up for only having like 7k hp.

Honestly its completly up to you if you want to try this or not, but honestly what it comes down to is you would better be off with stam as you dont need anywhere near 150 stam to be a extremly efficient aoe, 150 dex is just going to get you killed often during pvp and pvm and also cause lower dmg.

So even with max block, when you gather 10 mobs, 2 of them will hit you.

currently i am a 105 bp with 295 sta with equips. with this much sta i receive 150-200 dmg, so that means at 150- sta i'll receive much more damage. it would be better if i just increased my block rate so i would just block and receive about 150 dmg per hit, instead of 200-300 per hit normally. get what i am sayin?

when i was full str i would have 11k hp when fully buffed and equipped. so that means i'll have 11k again.

i'm not too worried about pvp, cause i can't lose to bjs and blades and my asal will be sorta decent again. i plan on restatting later once i lvl up a few times.
