First of all, 150 dex won't nowhere bring you to max blockrate (Stat calculator says 60% with a +8 billst and maxed CR, when with 15 dex is 42%, and some rangers/blade go over the 90% blocks). Then, with a +8 +28 HP set and no awakes, will result in 11k hp. Why bothering in getting an half unreliable block rate, when you can put 80-100 STA, rest int, and aoe much more safely and fast (a 150 dex build results in less than 100 base int :\).
And for the damage taken, all you need to get the minimum damage (while having opposite element suit) is about ~1.4k def to aoe properly,and when hits will be at the minimum blocks wont reduce the damage in any case, so HP would be still better (DEF would only decrease crit damage). Whatsmore, you have preve, which makes you almost unkillable.

i have 1.4k def with 295 sta...i know 80-100 sta won't do much. i doubt it's 60% from what i've seen

If it's 60% is already good, but anyway that DEF and HP you have seem to be much better

are you using plugs lol?i had a psy with 100 less sta than that with the same defense without 28% defense suit..

Especially since you're 105+ the rage crits of the mobs will constantly put you in danger, also you're asal will fail until you restat so i don't understand your point about Pvp, also i don't think it's worth restating twice for a few levels.

295 sta? The thing is once you have a certain amount of def, you'll get hit for the lowest amount possible for your level. Most of that sta is not helping reduce the damage you're taking. You could cut in half and you'd likely take the same damage you are now. You'd have less hp for sure, but it'd be more than you had as full str. Even if you did take more damage, it wont' be as much as you think and you'd also kill things a lot faster which would more than make up for it.

I have 137x DEF with a level 89 shield +19 STA and 80 base sta, plugs and billporon +8+28%HP :\
