Ok, its been 3days now, which is enough..

the problem is...

I can log into Flyff, choose the server, then choose my character..
but on the Character Selection screen where it loads the game, after about a
minute it says:

"Cannot connect to the game. Please check the network"

My internet is working fine, ive tried disabling anti-virus, firewalls, re-installing flyff,
Neus.ini, Neus.exe, etc.. etc.. but nothing..

It decides to work 1/50 tries, but if i logout, to change character or server then it stuffs up again..

Any ideas anyone???

another 2 hours of solid trying.. and still nothing...

pls someone..

in that last 3 hrs i tried connecting computer straight to modem
(removed the whole wireless setup)
resetting all web settings, ip address, dns server, proxy settings, etc..
still same thing.. but my net is working perfectly..
even called my isp and they checked the lines for me.
tried reinstalling, still nothing..

You really shouldn't multi post like this. The hour at which you posted this was late for a lot of people. As for the connection, it means you have a bad connection. A slow connection. A weak connection. Restarting your computer and playing Flyff then might help, but there's not much you can do. Saying you get connected once in a while proves that you can connect, and it's not the game. It's you.

The posts were spread over 8 hours.. & in Australia, it was mid day..
It cant be that, i been playing Flyff for months and nothing has changed with the net connection. and also like i said, i wired straight up to the modem and still not better. Restarting the computer doesnt help, as its been 3 days now and ive reset at least 80 times..
My connection has always been 1.5mb connection, and like i said, i called my isp today..

any other ideas..?

well tha same thing is happening to me i was playing fine yestarday the around 10pm
i got the same error i was playing fine for the last year some one plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try a reinstalling flyff but I doubt that would help.

Kinneko is right, maybe you didn't have this in the past and your internet seems to be the same, but it could be poor latency or bandwidth on your net causing the problem.

You might not see it with normal internet use but gaming can suffer. Have you got any other online games that you can test this with? If you have problems playing online with other games it's either your PC/Modem or more likely your ISP.

xD try it with SilkRoad, MapleStory, Rappelz, WoW..... any of the downloadable online games not sure if some of these u have to download but w/e.


Have you checked your computer for any virus's?

That just might be the problem.

It happens to me once in a while.. like once a month really. All I do is restart my computer and it works.. sucks for you. I'm not sure what to do.

What kind of internet connection you running on..b/c if it dial up *shivers* you will get that a lot if it high speed make shur you don't have a bandwidth usage if you do don't use the internet for a while and let it come down..if it not any of that maby its time for a new Ethernet card/modem
