I don't know about Flyff all that much(at best I have a lvl 38 Mercenary). My friend wants to play the game also and the only time he can play is over at my house. He wants to become a knight but I do not know knights very well. My merc is going to be a blade with a dex build. I would say and aoe knight would be better for him. So when he gets to lvl 15 what should be the stats he starts out with and as he continues gaining lvls what should he increase? Also I have a good idea of what aoe means but it would be beter if someone goes into detail(be sure to dumb it down for me -_-)

There is many Knight builds for AoE.

People go for like, 100 str capped, then rest sta, or 100 sta and rest str.

Theres also the Full STA option, which makes you lack damage, but your a human pin couch.

Skills
(I dont know these, this is why i retired my knight early)
Skills of coarse, the aoe skills when your a knight, id Reccommend the Axe AoE, i think its faster, more effective, and can stun the enemy.

Im not sure about what else, so i will let a knight expert take over from here.

No I don't like the full STA option would be best. Can a knight even AoE with 100 str and rest sta? I still don't know this game too well.

There are a lot of AoE knight builds. There is no fixed rule on it. If you feel that you need more STA then add more STA, if you feel you have enough then add more STR. While a lot of people have more than 120 STA, it's open for interpretation. Hell, you can AOE with 15 STA if you got the balls and a good RM.

Skills...

For merc...

MAX - Splmash, Keenwheel, axe masteries.

For knight...

MAX - Powerstomp, Rage, Guard(optional, I never used it though), Pain Reflection.

That's all you need, and you will have plenty of points. Every other skill is optional.

Equips...

Can use blues forever.

I used Warpon till 90, but the only reason is cause of the DEF...and it looked sweet, actually. I think I would have done better in blues, but I still did awesome with the warpon.

Jewels...

Strentes (vigor +9)

Plugs +9

Gore +3 or better.

Axes...

Actually, I used blue axes forever. The only one you should get that I know of is Angels Axe, and Legendary Golden Big Axe.

For all the other levels. You can use blues, you don't NEED greenz, actually, nobody does...but some people argue you HAVE to get the lvl 60 and lvl 75 green axes. Which is not true. Knights are very cheap. At least IMO.

First of all this class is for people that really want to be knights (REALLY).Second you need
To be really patient.

Builds: The build that i reccomend is 120 stam rest stre And yes NO Dex at all.
- -: If you're friend can buy cs just go 70 stre rest stam better hp and that means better tanking.

For leveling spam skills and remeber Assist are your friends And ask them in a polite-nice way.

If you're friend has enough money he can buy The level 45 green It gives 25% AttackSpeed. And always try to get a fs.

I reccomend To him to start using the sword and just save the re-skill until 65 and use the axe. The best skills To max for knight are :

Spl-mash and keenwhel(Pvp Combo) Rage : raises hp and attack Lowers defense and hit rate, Pain dealer usefull to cw or giant hunt maxed -150 defense to the enemy,Power stomp ( Aoe axe skill can also stun) , Power swing Usefull against danger situations -150 defense to all the enemys around you. o And Axe mastery and smite axe.

Also fight mobs that are 4-6 levels higuer.

But you shouldn't go all sta as a merc that makes leveling hard.

Nope, I recommend going 45~50 str when you are a merc, get your sta to 120...then full str again. That's what I did.

Yea when I got to 15 and my stat point rest I put them all on Sta
then I got two Vigor+9 rings and two Demols+12
I also awakened a lvl 15 shield for 15% aspd.
then I pumped str till I had 70. now Im pumping sta till 120 hen str again.

Wow, that's a nice shield...lucky bish, I need one of those kind of shields for my bp ~_~

Guess I'll have to deal with my Icicle shield with +7% aspd.

I have one +9% aspd and +3% crit too
