ok well im deciding on making a new YJ and uh well i dont have a clue on what im doing xD i was thinking around str xx sta 25 dex 43 but im not sure if thats a good build :/ could anyone give me some advice? and also would it be better to start off with all dex with bow till i get 43 then switch to yoyo when i start putting in str? and what yoyos would be best for pre 60 and i think Gyoyo is what im suppose to get for 60+ but i have no clue so uh fill me in thanks

That's a good build at 90+ where you got your Restra set.

43 + 7 (Yoyo) + 20 (Cannon) = 70 DEX = 28% crit
+ 40% (Critical Swing)
+15% (Restra)
= 83%.

Before you get your Restra, the 43 DEX build crits less than higher DEX builds of course. However, if you want to save yourself a restat at 90, just use this build.

Most Yocros did, but in V11 where you're able to equip Strentes/Mighteers from level 1, I'd say just stick with yoyos from level 15 and get used to leveling with a yoyo.

Anything you can get your hands on. That means, every green yoyo, unless of course you have some +XX STR yoyo laying around somewhere, which will outdamage the green yoyo.

Yes, level with a G. Yoyo until you can equip your H. yoyo.

well what do people use more? Gyoyos or Hyoyos? and pre 90 would it be better to level with 63 dex rest str? and also what are some pre 60 and 60+ skills i would need to have/max? thanks tree

You use your H. yoyo for the rest of your life after 75, because crit damage is the best you can have as a YJ. Unless you have some high crit damage awakened LG/Bloody yoyo.

Yes. I myself used a 63 DEX build before 90 and it worked out fine with 80% crit. Just be prepared to restat once you get your Restra set.

Pre 60;
Yoyo Mastery,
Perfect Block.

60+;
Enchant Poison,
Critical Swing.


Optional skills (for PvP);
Hop,
Vital Stab,
Backstep,
Counter Attack,
DI,
Fast Walker.

Didn't Jester's stun rate get nerfed? I don't want to splurge on a nerfed class. :O

Currently yes, jesters stun rates are a bit nerfed, but they still are a very good pvp charc.

Although jesters are probaby only the 4th-5th best pvp class at the moment imo.

Also, I expect v12 to change the balance of everything, so really, anything could get nerfed.

well id think that DI is for PvM too xD but hmm what about counter and cross? i heard that those are pretty good skills too and also my build right now is str:18 sta:15 dex:40
would putting my dex at 53 be any good? since jesters increase their crit rate by 4% each 10 then with the Hyoyo id get to 60 then with cannon id have 80 so would that be good? but im also worried about my aspd so being at 53 dex would that affect my aspd at all?

with gt and haste you will hit max aspd

= 83%.
Follow that build.

Although pre lvl 90, either you have to grunt it out with only 68% crit rate, or add more dex to compensate and restat and 90. Or buy reducts at 80/85.

eh im fine with only 68% ill tough it out but uh for right now is my build good so far?
str 18 sta 15 dex 40 im just using a bow till i get 43 then start pumping more into str then ill be using a YoYo around 20-25 but ya is my build good so far?

tbh, i'd suggest going with the 80 dex build over the 70 dex build

4% crit, some block and hit>10 str

i used the 70dex build until 110 and it worked fine, but i'm finding i like the 80dex build over it now :<

hmmmmmmmmmmm i think im going to go with the 63 dex build and see how well that plays out
