I'm starting a bp, plan on doing some soft aoeing (with 40 sta, but defensive equips and just reskill after cranes), but thats not what I am worried about

Pretty much, a MAJOR factor of me making this BP is because I want asal, but being as this is going to be my main for Glaphan (my other 2 chars are low lvl, and fail from when i first started flyff) I want to be able to 1v1 and giant pretty well, but the allure of a legendary asal, its just to great to resist.

anyways, as far as build, how much does int(because of mp) do for asal damage? if it does a lot, is it worth it to go a certain amount of int for it?

I am also thinking, equip-wise, about awakening low lvl suits (to str or int or mp depending on what i find out) and piercing it with either 4 Ocean cards, or a combo of ocean and lightning (a man can dream......as if ill have that much money for lightnings). this suit would be to interchange while asal-ing, probably (hotkeyed for quick swap), its just an idea right now.

anything I am thinking wrong?

So basically, you'll be able to AoE easily with 2 plug +9's and 40 STA base.
Just go cookie cutter xx str 43 dex and find nubs suits/shields with +MP awakenings... don't add any int, because it will screw up your leveling build. With just cookie cutter and MP awakenings you can get a pretty decent asal
int adds damage, and back before awakening asal builds needed balance between the two, because mass MP wasn't so readily available. But through awakenings, it's opened every average BP up to a pretty good asal.
