i know the term sounds rhetorical but i would like a step by step answer so that i dont get killed at lvl 65.
i have a Ele with 135 int and 30 sta.

1. gather your mob
2. cast aoe
3. run away from the mob

repeat 2 + 3 as needed.

also if you have a decent FS you shouldnt need to hit and run

No, Windfield does not keep them in one spot. It slows down their movement, which allows you to keep ahead of them and keep casting without being hit. If done correctly, this method is very efficient. This method takes a long time, but if you gather a lot, and know what you're doing, you'll level fast.
