OMG Is it just me or are the events on this game really really bad ideas that just cause major lag and or shut down (i can't even log into fly right now). This one with the giant moth thingy... if i actually knew how aerial attack worked i woulda had a shot... well if the lag hadn't caused me to fly someplace random as well as shutting down fly.

The bill event? horrible. not even going there.

They need to do something like have an entry fee on events or lock the channel once the event has begun or have a special event channel/continent that only the first like 80 can get into... something. i'd still kill for a defame feature though. Might stop some people from being jerks and idiots.

Alot of people dont even show up to events. Just dont go, there problem solved.

Hm... the only event I know was the bucket quest, and that ran for a while. Never even heard about other events --- and yes, I do play Flyff almost daily.

It doesn't seem to be a conscious choice on my side to not "participate" in any events --- more like events not being made public. Probably wouldn't change much for me, thoiugh --- my merc is "sleeping", and a support assist is no good collecting buckets or whatever else the events require you to collect.
