Well i don't know whats going on here i just tried logging into gpotato.com only to get an internal log-in error message. The when i try to log into Flyff i get a this id has been blocked pop up at log in screen. If indeed my account has been banned or blocked or whatever the case my be i should have recieved some form of an email or an explanation as to why it was blocked or banned should i not have? I've emailed gala-net as well as submitted a ticket through the flyff website via another account to find out what the heck is going on. Any help or explanations would be appreciated

As far as the website is concerned, I've discovered that I cannot log in with my actual account name. I have to type in my "forum" user name (which is very odd because I keep forgetting it).

As far as the ID block, I don't think there's anything you can do until they get to your ticket and look over your case. Good luck in finding out what happened D;

You need to email them asking why your account was blocked or make a new account and wait for a GM to come online and pm them about it

I have emailed them i haven't gotten any kind of response from them yet and the dang volunteer moderators on the gpotato forums won't even give me the time of bloody day let alone tell me or talk about whats going on with my main account through gpotato. it's starting to wear on my nerves not that it hasn't already since i suspect or have my suspicions that is in relation to verbally laying into a volunteer gm who locked off a post of mine which i in turn felt was censorship and a violation of free speech on the net in a chat forum or otherwise. anyway i won't go into ranting here. all i have to say is if i don't hear something from a staff member of gala-net or gpotato in the next 48 hours hell will freeze over!

Cool your jets. It's only been two days, and on average it takes them 5-7 days to get to your email. Emails are answered on a "first come first serve" basis, meaning any emails that were sent to them before yours get answered first. That's just HOW it is, so get over the delay.

Also, they might have closed your thread because it was in a wrong section (officials are very picky). Just be patient. If a week goes by and nothing happens, send them another email GENTLY reminding them, and include your previous email's "ticket number"

If you're impatient and want to play, just make a new email address, make a new account, and make a character.

The forum moderators cannot do anything to help you so it's pointless bitching about them. All information pertaining to an account is kept confidential between gala-net employees and the account owner. As the mods are not employed by gala-net, we can't help you with the reason as to why your account is blocked (basically because we don't know @_@).

I do find it rude that in the majority of ban cases, there is no email sent to the account owner explaining the reason for the ban. As you have already emailed them, I guess you just have to wait for them to reply and explain their reasoning - there's nothing more anyone else can do to help. If you think I can help out any further, send me a PM either here or on officials and let me know how.

Good luck getting the issue sorted

Edit: The thread would have been locked because bans aren't to be discussed on the forums, due to the account confidentiality thing I wrote about above.

To be honest and this is true in any case or situation i do have reason at the moment to hire an attorney and sue gala-net. They without reason, notification via email or otherwise banned or blocked an account unlawfully and illegally. Without them email or contacting my explaining things gives me the right to take legal action. I'm not saying i will but i'm halfway tempted to. Yes they ticked me off and got on my bad side. Who wouldn't feel the way i do if you were in my situation? At any rate i've vented said my piece about the situation.

Basically you've legally agreed to the above when you made the account. They have therefore broken no laws by banning you, and you won't be able to sue for damages.

Wait for them to get in the office tomorrow and phone them if you're that ticked off about things. But you're most likely to have the issue resolved if you keep a cool level head and remain polite. Bitching and swearing never motivates anyone.

really good way to get on someones bad side don's I don't care if those are copied and pasted from an original faq or not from gala-net or flyffs website by law a company has to notify and give reason why an action was done or taken any major law or buisness has to inform their consumers employees or whatever. And since this ban or whatever was most or more then likely done by a volunteer forum moderator someone who isn't even employed by gala-net or gpotato makes the whoe ban null and void. respond how you like. i'm stating the facts here and stating my opinion on the matter through free speech and nothing more.

I was just trying to make you realise that as stated in the ToS, Gala-net are under no obligation to give prior warning to terminating an account and you AGREED to this when you made the account. As I stated above, I do agree with the fact that it is impolite that they do not email the owner of the banned account, and instead wait for the owner to contact them. But again, they put that in the ToS and you agreed that it was all dandy when you made your account.

I'm afraid that's impossible. We have no powers over anyone's account. Any powers we have are limited to the forums and do not include bans of any sort (nuisence accounts are referred to the CM's attention and dealt with by them). And please don't attack me, as I'm trying to help you here.

If you want to PM me with a possible reason as to why you believe you were banned I can try to help you find out a possible duration. But beyond that, I can't really help.

PS. My name's Dons with no appostrophe (short for Donna if that's easier for you)

Pwned lol. Your much to impatient too. Can't you stop whining and being a little baby and just wait like everyone else and stop "I GET MY LAWYER AND SUE U" stuff over a little rpg game?

Please do not escalate the matter.
You might end up causing Flyff to close instead.
If its a volunteer mod I'll try to contact him/her.

UPDATE: there's still a chance.
The consequences are rather big if that 1 in 100,000,000 chance happens, so stay alert.

regretably the complaint with the better business buearu has already been filed and i am at this present time waiting for gala-nets office to open at 9am to call them and discuss the matter. I doubt flyff will close over a minor complaint. And i will let everyone know the outcome of the discussion i had with gala-net over the phone once i am done talking to them.
