I heard they were either the worst or second worst... forgot who was in the run with that tho... but if its full STR then it would be the worst, cuz with no defense and no buffs you would get 1 hit KO'ed probably. But if you have a RM then you could pwn the nooby giants
YJs suck at PvM without buffs, yea. You'll need an assist partner with you at all times. And I wouldn't reccomend full str unless you get decent/good equips- checn SilentxHill guide on YJs for more info o:
Can anyone help me out here? It kind of ruins my desires to play this game when I can't afford something because the players threw the economy into the abyss.
I would like to direct you to a lovely guide I used, made by TempestBlade. Got me 12 million by lvl 30 following it ^.^
Heh yeah the mas dungeon party about the Vice Veduques are what really helped me. Got 3 sunstones from them and 2 from earlier lvling in the Mas Dungeon, dunno if thats just really lucky or what but also all the other drops from Veduques add up and you're bound to get a sunstone or two.
And yeh, grinding makes money. Hell, I made my first million at like Lv25-30. Back in v6, I remember Wedge suit being 8m-10m (A lot back then for my nubness). That didn't stop me. I always had my green set and knuckle, 'cause I am sexy like that. Only green I missed was Sardine, 'cause I was too much of a nab to know about greens. *cough*
If I made 10m for a Wedge Suit at Lv45 (Full Set+Knuckle made me bankrupt, but I got it!), in v6, why can't you now when it's easier?
All you need to do is sell stuff. Know the market. BE THE MARKE--- Wait, too much drama.
Pro-Tip: Play the market.
Yes, I know, a poor arse BP is giving tips on how to get money. Maybe you shouldn't listen to me. Hmm...
Well, that's for you to decide. 8D

I don't know if this is obvious, but I think it should be said anyway.
NPC equipment in FlyFF has a rather unfogiving cost curve. This simply means that the price of equipment doesn't grow linearly, i.e. twice as high level requirement so twice as high price, but greater. This means that e.g. selling a piece of Lvl43 armory is more than twice as profitable than selling a piece of Lvl24 armory. Selling a piece of Lvl95 armory, which is roughly 4 times higher than Lvl24 lvl-wise, is more than 4 times as profitable as selling a piece of Lvl24 armory (actually, I think the factor at this point is somewhere around 100,000).
Now what does this mean for those who want to be rich? This means that if you are trying to get loads of money by selling items to the NPCs and the highest items you can get your hands on are in the Lvl24 range, you'll have to sell 100,000 times as much to make up the profit of selling one (!) Lvl95 equipment piece to the NPC. Considering the time you spend for this, and the effort included, it would have done you much better trying to get higher leveled during this time. Doing so means that you climb up this curve, which in turn means that the profit gained vs. time invested steadily increases as well.
Now why am I saying all this, and what does this have to do with the comments before me? The reason is that most people are suggesting you reach Lvl60, change to a Jester, and start giant hunting after that. A major source of income from giants will be NPCing any unneeded equipment, and since their prices are so steep, it is hardly worth the effort of hunting giants at levels far beyond 60 for drops. As a reference, I once hunted the Giant Mia just for fun, and got two Lvl15 weapons I could sell, the total profit being around 4,000 penya. At Lvl52, I hunted the Giantmage Prankster, and also got two weapons to sell, for a total profit of around 90,000-100,000 penya. Both giants took about 4-5 minutes to kill.
Another note I should make is that from Lvl60 onwards, giants drop green weapons (Guardian Staff, Guardian Axe, Historic Staff, Angels Wand, Legendary Golden Bow, etc.), which sell for a fortune, as you probably have already seen. Since these drops, albeit being pretty rare, are always a big leap for your money pouch, it makes sense to try to reach that phase as soon as possible.
