IHateFlyff's guide to the Slots

Hi there. This isn't the best guide ever, but I hope that there's something here than you're interested in. If I missed something, please let me know.

In Flyff, there are three main slots:

The 'Quick Slot' is the slot on the left. On the default mode, it has 10 spaces (it can change with different resolutions). Unlike the F-slots, there's no hotkeys to go with them. So to use them, you have to click them.

The 'F-slots' are the most used slots in the game. It is very versatile, as you can drag pretty much anything there. To use them, press the assiciated F-key (F1-F9) or just click them.

The 'Action Slot' is the small slot on the right. It only contains 5 spaces, which can only be used for skills. Press 'C' to use the skills, one by one.

Not true, number of slots in that slot bar depends on your screen/window resolution. Higher the resolution, the more slots.

"although, you have food and skills backword :O"

I do? Where?

"number of slots in that slot bar depends on your screen/window resolution."

Resolution won't change for me. Dunno why.

"its not that great cause ur telling people how they should organize theyre hotkeys"

Nope. Just giving people examples. I don't know any better ways to organize my hotkeys, tell me..

Nice guide o:!

Thanks.

This is a really nice guide! Most new people donīt know that they can put almost anything in the action slot and it took me months to figure out how to do the text thing XD.

Interesting guide.
I found out all this stuff by myself in my vagrant stages. But some people do need guides to survive.

There is no perfect way to organize your hotkeys and slots. Just do what ever suit you best.

And also, in your guide you don't recommend using action slot.
But i'll have you know that even with the small stop from using it, when your char does finally do the skills it is alot faster than pressing F-keys and casts it faster.

Also by only putting 3 skills into the 5 slotted action slotmeans that, especially if you AoE, you can press c twice without it greying your skills and by the time you're ready to kill the next set of mobs it would have 'charged' up completely. And i do recomend using action slots.

in all i think its a good sumary of how to use the slots, i dont know how many times iv had to explain the action slot to people.

guide gets an 9/10

information is put together nicely dispite the fact its a subject that is not on the minds of most flyers

Only Decent guide I've seen under construction in a long time. (I honestly did not know about the thing where you can drag your message onto a slot and just press that button instead of typing)

it's not a bad guide, but using f-keys isn't that complicated.
