like all these new rappers that come out daily and make stupid songs like soulja boi, and those artists that start all those stupid dances. I hate rap, However there are a few like 4 rappers that are actually good I think. Not better than rock though.

Personally it depends on the specific sub-genre, of the two i'd go with rock, pop-rock fails and goth rock is awesome (sisters of mercy, anyone?).

Though i do also have a liking for rap metal (rage against the machine FTW).
