I grind and grind and become ele, grind some more and am entousiastic at 65 when i get my AOE skills. So, like anyone might, I go and try them out in arena....

yeah....

I tried to see if the Lightning AOE (for those who dont know, i not aimed, but goes around you) will attack people in Dark Illusion. I see an acro go into DI, and i blink next to him and use it....of course...he died.

I play around a bit longer with various skills, going around, seeing who would want to fight me, then, for kicks i go into a random group of people, tightly packed, and AOE. (I stop fighting people, and only kill one person afterwards, which i'll explain further down)

Next thing I know, a disgruntled acro becomes a 90+ RM out for my life, complaining the whole time that I started it....later double teaming me who doesnt attack.

I get pissed and avoid (once by windfielding so i have time to blink away if he/she comes near me again) and dont even touch anyone anymore, sometimes unequipping my weapon, just trying to hang out.

My guild leader, who was there at the time kills her once after telling her politely to stop...i dunno, MANY times (though, understanably, he stopped the politeness after it seemed useless)

About 2/3 or more of the way through I start screenshotting them, getting a small fraction. the last one is key, btw. pay attention to the chat box in it.

Not doing this to complain, but I guess I want to humiliate some ppl....and I guess trying to show people you cant get away with it

P.S. if you are going to post "noone cares", then ill say it now so that you dont have to up your post count by stating stupid things....

People would post stupid things anyway, even tho you let them know. Like you experienced, people either pretend they didn't listen (read), or they don't wanna listen at all and keep being jerks. Which is why I'd never step in the arena and just stay outside watching the lame drama going on, in the rare times I get bored.

i can understand u wanted to ''test'' ur skill, why didnt u jsut ask a acro to go in DI instead of attacking him while u propably knew he was gonna die O.o?

if ppl kill my lil mage i come on my lil bp to take revenge and keep killing
its boring to stop after 1 revenge kill, cant blame the ppl who kept killing you ;_;

This idea that the Arena should be treated as a social hang out is getting old. When you go into the arena you expect to get killed. Just because you unequipped your staff, doesnt make you any less of a target. Just because your guild leader asked albeit politely people to not kill you wont make you any less of a target. If anything that paints an even bigger target on you, because after all youre in the arena with no weapon equipped, asking people not to kill you. When they just watched you AOE a bunch of people.

When you go and start randomly killing people, you have no grounds to complain when they want revenge. They dont care if you were just testing out some skills, you kill them and now they want to kill you back. Thats how the arena works, you kill them, they kill you back and its a nice circle.

no, it's not a circle, it's a dead end in these cases. you have someone who kills someone's low level once and even if they're around teh same level (as fair a fight as you'd get) the one that gets killed gets pissy and comes back on a high level to camp the killer until they leave arena. really don't se ethe fun in that at all if there's absolutely no competition, just you kiling them effortlessly every time.

x.x I understand how you feel, but in this case, I would've just left D: ..

There was one time I HCed a 105+ jester and these 6x's came over and ended up killing him xD .. he got totally pissed off and began to kill me every time I entered arena lol xD .. it was totally annoying and jerk-ish.. but eh.. it was my fault too for HCing him in the first place xD (though, I did that because he just kept DIing all over and HoPing everyone in arena)

Meh D: .. yeah, people can be jerks.. it's best to stay away.
