There was one time I HCed a 105+ jester and these 6x's came over and ended up killing him xD .. he got totally pissed off and began to kill me every time I entered arena lol xD .. it was totally annoying and jerk-ish.. but eh.. it was my fault too for HCing him in the first place xD (though, I did that because he just kept DIing all over and HoPing everyone in arena)

After level 80 most people turn into completely rude jerks
not all people but people who I've known before 80 were all nice but when they hit 80... they became total dicks.
What I hate? Eles are automatically targetted for kills before they even enter the arena until they start being able to survive and defend themselves better (mebbe 8x-9xish).
For the record, though, if you want to avoid those people.. don't just start AoEing randomly.. even if it's just to test out your skills. Try playing around back and forth with a guild mate or buddy, and when someone comes along to go after you, kill 'em where they stand. You might even make a new friendly rival out of them. That way, no one can bitch and moan about how you killed for no reason and deserve to be camped, if they lie to a friend to get them to camp you you've got witnesses, etc, and you may even end up with most of the arena on your side in the case that that person switches to their other character to camp your ass. Besides, it sucks when some random Ele windfields a group of people for no reason and the group of people starts spamming "KILL ALL ELES" etc. Seriously. :< It's a free for all arena, that shit's fair and if someone does it, it should be 100% on them as well.. but most people don't seem to be able to handle "free for all."
The stupid part is none of that should even be necessary in a free for all environment. The thing is, though, when you AoE a group of people with a skill they don't like [windfield especially], they all gangbang you even if they know you wouldn't or couldn't kill them. Especially if they know you're lower leveled and won't be likely to be able to get away from their skills alive either for hp/defense reasons or lack of experience in dealing with them. The other common thing is what you experienced, which is where someone needs to sprout their e-peen. I wonder if they play their lower level JUST to have an excuse to kill people with their other character sometimes. If they really just won't piss off, hop to the next server.
The drama is retarded, but there is something decidedly satisfying about people willing to show you that you're a significant threat to them by camping you around the edge of the arena. What's more satisfying than that? Blinkpooling past them and killing them again.
