Seriously, they fucked up siege, too. I miss the days where I would get bored, run through Flaris, SM, and Darkon inviting random people to my guild, then just take a random group inside. I had like a level 28 defender once who was like the last survivor for my guild. You can't get hysterical sieges like that anymore. Dx Only an incredibly rich fucker could mimic what I used to do in v7.

I do too, but we all know that cause I'm probably the biggest dueling fanatic on Flyff.


Still, we have to admit:

NO ONE walks away from a fight in the PK arena with their ego scarred or thinking they lost. The win-loss ratio simply doesn't matter, as long as they won once. Even if they won just once, they can argue that the other team ganged them/had better buffs/had cookies/was abusing a combo like sneaker + BJ and then they can pat themselves on the back and say "Yeah they're pretty pathetic, I mean it was 3 vs 1 and I STILL won..."

Duels didn't have any of that shit. No food, no buffs that weren't your own, no outside interference from other people; just you and your opponent seeing who was the best one-on-one.
And holy fark, troupe duels... Dx Those were even more awesome....The food rules always varied for the two troupe leaders, but that was simply to lengthen the match. Also troupe duels were the duels where I shined the most, cause I could best combine my supporting and fighting skills. (of course that got me killed FIRST a lot of times... xD )



But now we just have constant fights between child-like attitudes, that ultimately don't go anywhere or prove anything.

Guild Wars are funnier (if that's the word) than the arena. But when the other guild is like yours (no a 121 hero psykeeper owning everyone)

Here's another thing I'm noticing.

Remember back in the day, when someone attacks you and fails, they stop?? Essentially fending off the first attack means fending off that person, because they won't bother you again.

NOW people seem incapable of discriminating between "assault" and "defending yourself." I've had a BJ pissed at me for killing them when they were attacking a friend.

I've had a whole guild after me after a blade and RM from said guild started attacking me when I logged in, when I was barely buffed and ready, and after I killed the blade I continued on to kill the HCing rm.

And I just had a psy attack me and a friend, we killed it, and the reply was "guess I'll get on my BP then."

Minutes later, guess who shows up? A BP.

Heck, I'm actually gonna post which BP it was, even though that is slander, cause this was just a really fucking arrogant and dick move, and I can't stand arrogance.

Yeah, your low level psy IS gonna get killed if you attack people with it. And no, we're not gonna bend over when we find out you're killerBP; we're gonna kick your ass.

Your Psy got killed, your asal got tanked (twice), and we killed you, with pics avaliable. Hell, the pic even kinda shows are you were trying to run away when we killed you. Sadly I don't have pics of me tanking your asal, or you logging out to escape a second death, but meh.

The best story though, is after making peace with that guild that was after me for killing their RM who was HCing me for the blade, she started buffing and healing another BJ that was attacking me (this BJ wasn't in her guild) she cried "bloody murder." Even more sad is, random people around her started saying "YA WTF LONG YOU PEACED WITH HER WHY'D YOU KILL HER" and started hitting me.




I swear I need to hotkey the line "Don't start shit unless you can finish it," cause it's a line that a lot of people here need to learn from.


Anyone else having these experiences with people who assault you feel like they've been murdered in cold-blood when you defend yourself and triumph??

As for me it's just a few people that are my permanent foes whenever I pvp on my BP.

There was once I went to S4 to help out a friend, just because he was going against three people. He was a 88 BP, going against a 11x BJ, 110 BP and another 10x BP.

He only started because the BJ instigated the fight - he cleared the arena, and my friend just retaliated. BJ kept trying to kill my friend, failed, called in for 2 of his friends.

Friend called me, I came. So it was 2v3. I tanked Asals, we killed them quite a few times. Then they got Asal equips, which could onehit me. I put on casting equips, we win again.

THEN they get a Sneakerwhore. Got us Sneakered, BJ just killed us from far away and the BPs Asalled us out of range. As if that wasn't enough, more and more people started to come in.
Oh if I haven't mentioned it yet, the BJ's from the siege winning guild and the other two BPs, the other major guild. So yeah naturally they called in all the guildmates.
Soon it was like 2v10. I don't know whether to feel honored or.. what.

People just can't seem to win fights on their own now. They feel the need to get help, and they just REFUSE to concede. Being in a 'great' guild hightens that ego even more, so much so that they cannot accept loss. So they do whatever it takes just to beat the opponent, even if it means calling the entire guild.
Then as if that wasn't bad enough, they shit talk us all once we can't do anything.

Then from then on some of them hold grudges and target you every single fucking time you enter the arena. Kill them; the whole cycle repeats.


And who can ever forget sneakerwhores. I've got a good mind sometimes to just go get stacks and stacks of Holy Scrolls just so I can fucking retaliate. It's pathetic.

Level 80 Asalwhores who kill Level 100+s and think they're bloody good.

I experienced noobs gathering their friends too. Last time though, the rest of the arena pitched in to help out. The fight lasted hours before the noobs left though.

I did manage to sweet talk my way into befriending a couple of the noob's friends after the fight though... I might investigate into why they do any of this. If it's worth it. When they're not trying to defend hit & run Jesters(BJs or HoPers), they seem pretty civilized.

I remember having troupe duels within guild when everyone was bored. Those were sooo fun *-*

Sneaker whores are one of the reasons that propel me to level my RM for a higher level M skill xp (well not really cuz I'm sitting here slacking ).
Those people who get really pissed when you kill them cuz they were attacking your friend are funny.
I remember once I was in the arena on my BJ and *avoids naming chars* someone was standing in the middle of the arena with their RM and YJ--then they decided that it's fun to attack your friend who was also just hanging around on a lower level char. As a semi-reflex I killed the YJ and lol did he get pissed. Came after me but due to blocks etc I always managed to kill him before I died--then he was like "you asked for it" *logs friend/inherited level 10x BP* and comes to asal me but failed cuz he wasn't smart enough to think of using sonic and I sniped him from the middle of arena when he was running in. After a few minutes he logs his friends/or inherited blade--well I got gg'ed cuz of pan barrier and stuff *sucks at PvP when it becomes more skill/experience involved* D: . He was really hostile too--then later my guildies showed up as they logged in and he started sucking up >_>.

lole, got on my noob YJ (71) just now and killed some 80+ YJ. He then kept following me around even when I was doing nothing but running circles around the ring, so I decided to try again. I DI'd, melee'd him for a sec and pressed counter. Then he HoPed me and just stood there so I killed him with more melee. Then he got buffs and tried again, pretty much the same result. Then he called me a noob and is now afk/offline. Amuses me how stupid some people are, especially the ones who can't stand being killed.
