Flyff is closing on me

ok well since this new patch came out, flyff keeps closing on me. i get past the launcher when gameguard goes to do its thing. once gameguard is done, all of a sudden flyff just disappears. anyone know others having this problem or know of a fix to it?

it closes cause your computer cant handle it. try going to some not laggy channel first. or try closing programs you arent using

i have been able to play it just fine on my computer until this last patch though. my computer can definitely handle it, since i have played a billion times on it before. it gets to the gameguard thing, then just disappears. i never even get into the login screen.

so does anyone have some valid remarks to this, like experiencing the same problems or is it just me?

i experience those problems on my laptop, but not in my pc =/

I'm assuming you're not getting any error message? The same thing happened when I first tried to run FlyFF on my lap top. Ran the patcher, then gameguard, then poof. Turned out that it was because my firewall wasn't letting gameguard through. All I had to do was change the settings to let FlyFF through. It's possible that the new patch brought changes that affect the way your firewall or antivirus program (if you have one) detects FlyFF's different applications.

Other than that, not sure what else could cause that. If all else fails, try re-installing the game entirely if you haven't already.

I have excactly the same problem. It gets to "Authenticating" then just quits. I've played it about a thousand times before, then suddenly *Poof*. I'll try changing my firewall setting but.........

If it doesn't work, I'll be really upset. I'm almost addicted to flyff. I've tried re-installing, everything......

*Cries* It still doesn't work. ANy more suggestions? If you know anything else that might help, PLEASE tell it to us. I would even register just to help with something like this!

same thing happens here says "authenticating tyav32.dll.npz" the n just quits

Meh :/ don't feel bad i have the same problem T_T if it doesn't work today it will be the 3rd day it hasen't worked >_<

I don't know if any of you have tried this, but whenever that happens to me, i just restart my computer, then it will work again. good luck trying to fix it. also, if you haven't try to manual patch the files

:O it works for meh now all i had to do was re-install it

I get that whenever I get a nuez error. :\

-Go to where you saved Flyff
-Delete files 'dataSub', 'dataSub1' and 'dataSub2'
-Restart your computer

And then it should work. >_o

what are the datasubs?
