So try this:
Turn off ALL OF YOUR FIREWALLS, ANTI-SPAM, ANTI-SPYWARE, etc. and then run Flyff. Though, it does allow others to easily hack into your computer... at least you can play

That's not really recommended, unless you're willing to take the risk of getting your computer infected quite nicely

You can do that, although, I would say to keep up the Windows Firewall (or Windows Defender if you have Vista) just so that you have some form of protection, regardless of how little it is. Once you're done playing, though, start them back up. Don't wanna be surfing the web unprotected.

i tried to turn off the windows firewall and re-downloading flyff but still it did not work.
Is there any other sugestions?

I get the same problem. FLyff works on my pc but not on my laptop. Annoying

I don't know exactly what they are but they repatch when you open the patcher if you ever were to delete them.

it does not work. if i delete the DataSubs and restart the computer they will be back on the Flyff folder.

Hi guys,

I'm new in this forum and this game, i downloaded it yesterday.
I have the same problem, when i open it, close itselft and comeback to the desktop... PLEASE HELP!!! i wanna play this game. i think this problems is by my antivirus, i have Avast! Antivirus Home Edition.

There are my pc's specifications

Processator Intel Pentium III 866MHz
256 MB RAM
32 MB Video
Windows XP Profesional 2002 Service Pack 2
50GB Free Space HD

I reformatted my computer some time ago, and this problem came after I installed Vista Service Pack 1

Tell me if you have Vista SP 1 installed and don't have this problem.

Hey I also got the same problem:
I opened the Flyff shortcut at the desktop
It does the patch
I click the Start button
White window and GameGuard splash screen pops up
GameGuard update pops up and disappears
White screen and splash screen disappears
The last thing that disappears is the GameGuard shield icon on the system tray

Please help
This thing irritates me
I just got reformatted my computer and reinstalled Flyff
Any help will be appreciated

Right-click on the icon and "Run As Administrator"
If that doesn`t work I don`t know what 2 do

Copy the Flyff folder from a friend...
Then paste it inside your Gpotato folder...
Click 'Yes to All'...

I'm not sure if it will work 100%...
But it worked for me!!!

does it say something about DirectX SDK?
if it does then go on google and put ''download DirectX SDK'' and download it, then you will be able to play.
