it's by far easier to level as a bj, ridiculously so tbh. i went from 1-75 as a bj, then 75-110 as a yj.

just restatted to full dex, got a rasra set+3 and a LGB+8. deals 1/2-2/3rds the damage i dealt as a yj, but all i have to do is weigh down the attack hotkey and move the screen with my right mouse button. theres literally no downtime between mammoths, but i'm leveling much slower than i did as a yj. only getting 6-8% per hour compared to 10-12 :s

pvp-wise, the yj wins out without question. i was messing around in the arena last night after i restatted and hated it. sure, i can melee for 3-3.7k a pop with rasra etc etc but i drop like a fly to anyone who gets close enough to land a hit. if i stick on hp gear and my jenes set i go down to 2k's melee with 15k hp and do slightly better. if i stick on my yoyo and pvp as a yj i can still get a 7k HoP with 16.3k hp and 1.2k melee, or swap on attack gear and have a 9k HoP.

as compared to (as a pvp built yj) the same 2k's melee in full hp gear with 17.3k hp and 10k HoPs every few seconds. swap on rasra/attack gear and you're doing 3-3.5k melee with a 14.5k HoP. just outdamages the bj by miles in both situations. not to mention easier access to counter and stuns. i'm sure if i had a 60dex rabbit and +10 shit pouring out of my nose with 30dex rings i'd do better damage, but it wouldn't be able to compete with a pvp built yj =/
