Does anyone have a def calculator they could send me the link to? I'm wondering whether my def would be lower with NPC or recorn ._.
(I could swear my def was over 650 with darkbin, and now with 3 parts of the recorn set it's down to 600 0_o unsure whether that's my error or not...)

I know your total Def = your base Def + the average Def of all your equip pieces.
I don't know the formule to calculate base Def, but because this one is fixed whether you wear NPC or recorn, you can check for yourself which set adds more Def.

Assume your helmet has 100 Def, suit 400 Def, gaunts 150 Def and boots 120 Def.

100 + 400 + 150 + 120 = 770 Def

770 / 4 = 193 Def added to your base Def.

But I can tell you already the NPC set adds more Def.

Ah, okay thank you. I guess I'll just sell my recorn stuff and get the NPC again (good thing I got all the recorn stuff cheap.)

no, don't sell them, get another piece of recorn and you have the 20% more attack speed, way better than the darkbin's defence imo, if you think you defence is low, get to plug9s. but imo, get two demol+12 coz high attack and speed is the blade's way, not the high defence

and doesnt block come from dex?

i guess def is important too. but how much are you selling the recorn pieces for?

yea, while being forced to wear blue sets i noticed that my def was usually higher than if i was wearing the green set that i would normally have worn
