For those that hate BJs, they aren't abusing glitches, it's a natural thing that occurs in game that they simply take advantage of which obviously the devs didn't realize it'd be such a big deal. If the game provides it, why can't we use it? They aren't glitchers, no abuse, no bug, there's nothing wrong with it. Get over it and learn to live with it already. And they provide the only efficient 1v1 Bow user, which satisfies a lot of people's class desires. Saying BJs are glitchers is like saying BPs who use stick tricks are glitchers or anyone who uses any sort of trick to do anything are glitchers and should be frowned upon. -.-
Now, it depends really on preference. Based on survival ability and leveling speed, I would say BJ. BPs though are probably equally able to survive, but can't really reach the same amount of damage because BJs have all those multipliers working for them. BPs also have buffs which can definitely be convenient if your FS goes AFK or if you for some reason need to solo without an FS.
But there's also the issue of just what you like. Some people might like to level fast, but just don't have a fun time with BJs, and some people might have a fun time with BJs and not BPs. Maybe you should try making a Bow Acro and a Battle Assist and see how each interests you at first?

I'd suggest a BJ if you're not that into PvP'ing--you could always restat into a YJ when you're done leveling and wanna go PvP. I know I'd make a BJ (and did although I also made a BP before) since I don't really care much for PvP either.
BP's do pretty sad damage imo if you don't have great equipment--but from what you've posted it sounds like you've made a BJ before?
If that's the case maybe you should try BPs--they've always been one of my favorite classes

@Nielli - yes I've a level 92 BJ. And I plan to go YJ once I hit 120. I'm only considering going BP because at times I'm temnpted to release some 5-digit damage.
I realize I'm a total newb. I never knew blades could dish out 35k's. No, no more KB in PvP.
I prefer having a YJ than a blade though. As a blade I may never get to play around with the skills. BPs... tempting. Same with YJs (the reason why I grind as a BJ)
So much hatred towards BJs lol. You people say it's only point and click, but aren't all 1vs1 classes like that?
And yes, if you already made a BJ, maybe you should try a BP now? You can be pretty good at PvP if you want to, and have the choice of going AoE later, for a change of pace.
