REGISTER TO REMOVE THIS AD

Both the flyff web and game worked fine for me always. This was one of the facts that made me play this game instead of Silkroad, and other games like this (in fact, SilkroadOnline is the only FreeToPlay mmorpg than can compare with flyff in terms of quality)

I was playing yesterday, and managed to fly for the first time ^_^
So yes, i'm just a newbie playing this game. but I really like it

But now, suddently I experience 2 errors. The game won't let me go in, although I have not touched any configuration nor installed any firewall.

First, I get this game message, about impossible login and advicing me to check the net connection.

Last time, I got this other message

Service currenty unavailable.
Please, check flyff website for details.[/b]

I read in the client that there has been an extended maintenance, and I go to the web to see if I can find the current time, as I have never experience a maintenance. I thought maybe it was being done at this moment.

this is what I get when typing flyff.gpotato.com, however:

So, is it just me? can you tell me what happens? do you have any advices? If it is a maintenance underway, I would like to know, as it is the first time I faced one, and I'd like to be able to recognize it.

Well this problem has been brought up before. It seems Firefox for some people just don't like to run the official flyff.gpotato.com webpage. It will run in Internet Explorer however so u can check stuff there.

If u also look on the flyff pare it says its configured for IE so they probably put a Firefox Block script in the php but thats just a guess there, lol

I doubt it this problem is the one I am experiencing, as I am using IE and not Firefox.

Hmm thats odd for me it loads on IE but not on Firefox.... Something odd is going on here.....

I just restarted. Same problem.
I checked in my other pc, however. The flyff page can be accesed. And it uses exactly the same modem and connection my laptop (the one with flyff installed) uses. As I said, I did not touch anything since last time I played Flyff, so I don't know what could be causing these problems.

I find odd that the news I can see in the flyff page, in the pc that will let me access to it, does not list the last maintenance I see in the client.

After restart, my laptop is still in the same situation.

Cannot Connect to the Game.

So you mean there is a maintenance underway and I am experiencing login problems because of that?

If so, I'll check in an hour, or so.

Yup. Just wait it out. If it's not over in an hour or so...then the GM's are fixing some problem or something that happened during scheduled maintenance.

Actualy the maitenance thing is for the Game servers not the flyff.gpotato.com webpage.
The maitenance on the Game servers have nothing to do with the webservers.

It seems it was all due to the maintenance. I could log in and enjoyed flying with my broom after some hours!

This was the first time I faced a maintenance, so thanks for being so helpful and kind.

the website won't run on my laptop, but I can live with it

and sometimes its because everyone that can't get in game decides to go on the officals and make topics like "zOMG why have my acount been blocked!11!" or "plz unban me GM" so the site lags worse than the game >_>
