The tci/ip is not installed properly

Sometimes, when I go to play flyff, or leave flyff and come back, or try to go to flyff after being online, it doesn't connect, and says that

Error code: xxxx Result; 5
The TC/IP is Installed incorrectly.

I canr remeber the code, but it gives me a 404 in the patch window, where it shows the news, and it keeps be from going online afterwards untill i perform a system restore.

Is this a glitch in the game? Or is it because my Laptop is a piece of crap from 2003?

why is that my flyff is patching 1/5386 and it always shows

and then when i retry i repeat saying error

did you click on a screenshot on the offical fourms reacently? there was a trojan posted on there a day or two ago that totaly messed up a lot of peoples comps and IPs

This may sound like a connection sofware problem but I'm thinking flyff is just crappy software so the problem probably lies there.
My suggestion: don't go reinstalling stuff just so flyff will work glitch free.
Flyff is not worth ruining your PC for.

I did a check, it's not the flyff software, it's the computer itself.

Must have gotten that virus...

I guess I can reset the OS...

I can afford to wipe my hard drive, in fact it would be an improvement, seeing as I have all this extra crap on it...

Try hooking your motherboard driver CD.
Install the drivers on it, including the ethernet drivers/tci\ip drivers.

I'm Calling my dad for my system disks.

I'm tired of this crappy laptop. I would be fine with it if it was just flyff, but now if i close the window it breaks, and then i got 1000 blank popups and had to reboot.

I'm doing a complete system reset, I don't care if i lose my files, I can download Mozilla and Flyff again, since thats all i use now.

EDIT: wait, I reset my Tcp/ip address and it seems to be working perfectly.
