Grr. Why are all these things changing on me? I stop playing for a few months and come back only to have my hopes and dreams shattered.

I just found out it's going to cost me 1mil to change my hair color.
How lame is that? Since they jacked up the price, I'd expect to be able to have my own choice of hair color at character creation.
Which is quite odd that I can't considering the fact that the option is there just not usable.

And, how cool! I can change my eye color and shape! WHEE--. Wait. 1mil for that, too?

Isn't it 2mil for hair colour, 4mil for the hairstyle? (or the other way around) Either way, it's 6mil total, unless they lowered it to 1mil during the v11 change o.o

Plastic surgery is still 1mil, at least to the extent of my knowledge.

Meh, those make-up (event) coupons were pretty common during the fsm event, I'm sure you can get one sooner or later from another holiday event.

It is worth my time. Character customization is something I like to take part in.
The default hair color sucks. And robotech-type hair colors own.

Never played Ragnarok. Don't think I would like it too much.

I believe it's around 1mil or something.
Too expensive, either way. When I first started playing, I could change my hair color with around 2k-3k. I don't think I have enough free time to get 1mil for a change of hair color. I guess I'll have to get lucky somehow(lol. lucky). Either that or go with crappy equipment.

I take alot of pride in how my character looks. I read in a RIFTS book one. It's a ROLE playing game. Not a ROLL playing game. So, getting into character is one thing that fuels my want to play a game, no matter what the game is. The more I'm "into" my character, the more I'll wanna play.

yeah but thats RIFTS, you can pretty much do whatever you want as far as character creation. I mean, I once created a Crazie that could take apart a smoke grenade to take out the smoke cartradge and replace it with a special blend of Nitrious Oxide (laughing gas) and Potassium Chloride (deadly gas) and it was mixed with green dye No.4. He also had special MegaDamage armor crafted to look like a purple suit. So theres a huge difference between what you can do with tabletop games, and what you can do in a F2P MMO.

Anyway, the reason all of that is so expensive is because it was intended to be a penya sink. An attempt to drain money out of the community to lower in game prices. However like most of the people in this thread, many of the people didnt care about what their character looked like. Especially when your character is covered in armor anyway or when you can buy special wigs from the CS.
