Why are some of us (okay, remove the reference to "us" if you have a problem with being grouped together as a community) throwing muck (I am prolly exaggerating here) at Rightclaw (and others, as well) when he's got the votes and is barely one week into his new role on the Flyffworld team?

Even certain popular (using this term liberally) members of the community got a fair go despite their past history of .... incidents.

Give Rightclaw (and whoever else we - okay, you - have a problem with) a chance.

People who need to change do change for the better, those who don't need to change do stay the same.

And yeah, some folks get worse, but if we start kicking dirt without giving folks a fair go, well, I'm pretty sure it's time we all move on.

I expect to get some crap for stating the obvious, so feel free to do so (I reserve the right to respond ... of course, with my usual level of "articulateness")

Rightclaw can be annoying at times, but I have no doubt he takes his mod role seriously. SC sucked well before Rightclaw, and certainly not cause of him. People cry about how lame it is now... then post better/funnier shit?

My beef was that people keep telling me he does well modding on other forums, and I am like " What other forums!?" It'd help if I knew which. To be perfectly honest, I didn't even vote >.> I had assumed that thread was just something for the staff to gauge our interest in appointing an SC mod.


Anyway, my apologies for judging too soon. I'm sure some people had their doubts about me when I was a SS. Seeing as he's just an SC and not a global mod, I think he'll do fine. He'll be modding the area he knows best, and that'll likely only include closing/deleting flamey threads and the like. Nothing to get our panties in a twist over. I don't think things will change as much as people think.



Maybe this is just what SC needs.
