The FlyFF World team has been receiving name change requests for a long time now, but we never had a formal policy on it until now.

• Must be a Supporter or a Premium member to receive a name change
• One name change per user
• Must provide a reason

A Supporter is a user who has donated money to the site, and a Premium user is one who has 800+ posts. We are restricting name changes to these usergroups and only once per user so that name change requests are taken seriously and made with careful consideration.

If you meet the requirements and have decided to change your name, please PM an admin (Tor, ItsReiko, or Tenko). Include your new name, the reason for the change, and be sure that your new name isn't already taken. We will then bring it up with the team and discuss it among ourselves. This can take a few days, so please be patient. We tend to be easygoing with the reasons, but we hold the right to refuse your request, so please be understanding.

Is this retrospective?

Meaning, if Sinner (for example), who got his name-change request approved and actioned recently, wants to change it again, would he be allowed to?

What about name-change reversions? Again, using the same example, Sinner back to SinnerChrono?

Oh and another one, say if someone was only a premium user at the time of a name change and became a supporter after, would the one name change per user rule apply still or would they be allowed another?

Oh yeah. Everyone right now has a name change count of zero.

One per user means one per user no matter what usergroup they are in.

first forum ive been to have such flexibility way to go. could i change my name to something in japanese when i learn japanese good. onnanoko sore was roku desu ka?

it's good to have a name changing policy like this.. if not it could be greatly miss/overused.
And the fact that it's restricted to only specified usergroups are also fine with me (might come there someday)
but the possibillity for one change ever?
if I could deside I would say around 2-3 chanses the most but if you've gotten an request, aproved or denied you should be restricted to not be able to change again in maybe 3-6months..

that's just an opinion from my side anyways..
still it's great to have made a policy 95% clear to everyone^^

Thats retarded cause I know a lot of people on this site *Not going to name who* had name changes like a billion times.
