REGISTER TO REMOVE THIS AD

Ok, so I start flyff when game gaurd updates AVG detects a virus, fair enough. I know it isn't a virus so I turn off AVG & my firewall, restart flyff. Then game gaurd says "Game gaurd update was not done. Scan the virus or make some changes in your pc management system"

It says that everytime with my firewall & anti-virus turned off. Please help me. What can I do?

Are you running the game as administrator? You must, or the game isn't allowed to modify the files on your computer - it's a security feature. To do so, choose 'run as administrator' from the right-click menu, or go into the properties of your Flyff shortcut and set it there, on the compatibility tab.

I need to interject with a question here. I plan on buying anew computer with Vista. And from what ive heard it wont play flyff, or any game in the matter. But if i run flyff on the administrators account i can play it?

I know, but i dont want to spend 200$ on a Windows XP OS package, so im trying to find a way to run it on Vista.

well i cant run it on XP at the moment, because I have no "run as administrator" option

You dont get what it is do you? The administrator is the account that has access to any option. Basically, the house runner, and other accounts are guests.
