Default Elementer Build? - 04-15-2007, 12:38 PM

Hello, uh, I'm brand spankin new to this game/forum and I have a question about Elementer builds. I searched on the forums and the only thing I could find that I could understand was this guide:
A Guide to Elementors

I can follow the skill tree and that works fine, but what should I do with my stats? Right now I'm level 18 and I've been evenly splitting them between STA and INT, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm supposed to do. For the rest of my career should I split it evenly between both of them or.. what?

Yeah, I don't really understand any of the high tech lingo (something about if I want to AOE then I should use this build.. I pretty much don't understand that at all).. all I really want is to be able to deal a lot of damage and to have an all around good character to play with. If that makes any sense.

Help?

If your going to become a Ele that deals good damage just distribute your stat points to 50 Sta and the rest to Int like the guide stated. This type of build will however make u take more damage from monsters/players than a 50-80 Int & Rest Sta build. I've seen Ele around lvl 68 doing some pretty high damage around 6k to CarrierBombers. My Ele is lvl 70 with 80 Int & 88 Sta, I'm doing quite fine with aoe-ing and my damage isn't that bad [3.5k dmg/ 4k with masteries].

meh...well if ur goin AoE ele then you should probably work with 2:1 ration when making build (2 sta:1int) But feel free to add more of w/e u need when u think the other is sufficient for the moment. Skillwise (if you want to know about that ) lvling every single skill isnt sucha hot idea. you should reskill at lvl 60 and focus on a combo build (wind+fire or water/lightening)...feel free 2 correct me if i'm wrong ppl....but do it nicely

AOE basicly means killing multiple monsters at the same time. Most eles go the aoe path.
1v1 means you vs 1 mob. Great damage once you get your masteries, but is a little slower lvling.

This might be more helpful his build breakdown is a bit better.

And here for skills. The skills tree at the link you posts is a bit lacking in info.
