Oh, and. Something to add:

When you see 1.13 attack speed up there, that actually means 1130.

So maxed haste is +50% (it's labeled that way on items)

You apparently DO get a miniscule bonus to your attack speed at level 85.

..It's like.. 30 speed or something though, too small to be noticeable

So basically, if you had a full support assist with maxed haste and GT, you could have about 30 Dex and you'd have max attack speed? Essentially being that you'd only need about 50-60 Dex to be able to hit things and the rest of your stats could go into strength or stamina. Though realistically, having a max haste and GT buff would probably hardly ever happen.

What about having two weapons though? Like two swords and two axes. Is that what the two hands option means? If you have a two handed weapon, I noticed the break points are a bit different, as in much farther apart.

Interesting though. Since I'm going to try a dual axe strength blade, maybe I won't need as much Dex as I thought.

Just remembered refining and the +stats that 3 and over give. That could also be used to reduce how much Dex a blade would actually need, right?

So you could have a twinked out Blade with no dex, and be almost unstoppable o.O

i honestly hate the pricing of one- handed swords. A boody Lv 45 Sword costs 5mil now. The price has dropped from 7.5mil. Btw.. Whats a good Sta for a Blade?

That 45 rare is that price because it increases attack speed, so it is good for those going blade. Couple that with the fact that everyone and their momma is a blade, and you've got a pretty stiff competition on that one coolio item.

I was certain I wouldn't have one when they were going for 8 mil a while back, then I snagged one for 3

-And in case someone didn't answer this question already, two handed weapons are the bigger ones that knights weild with both hands which are extremely slow. Hence, with the same dex as a blade and a considerably larger weapon they will always attack at a slower rate.
Having two weapons is an option on that calculator because dual weilding has a negative attack speed mod, which someone described as about 50 dex or so. That seems a little high to me, but this person did their math, so I'm going to assume they're probably closer to right than I am.

Well yes, that is what a two handed weapon is, but I'm sure there's some kind of speed penalty for using two weapons instead of one. It'd be nice to be able to calculate out what exactly that penalty is with two axes, unless there isn't one at all.

Also on that first calculator with the attack speed, I don't see an option to select two weapons.

No, it's not so much a penalty with 2-H weapons. They just have a slower atk speed to begin with. 2-H sword is Normal and 2-H axe is slow I believe.

Um, Maore--

It's not rare to find a RM with maxed GT, since it's fairly easy to do; maxed Haste is another problem though. It's.. fairly rare among the higher community as I believe.

Also, GT lasts for a REALLY short amount of time, so you'd be better off with maxed Haste, Panggril set , and dual SoSS's.

If you upgraded all your crap to +10, you'd get a fairly likable bonus to just about everything, and the weapon bonuses would own-

Keep in mind though, that Haste and GT are ONLY for attack speed. Your hit accuracy is still based off your DEX.

Maxed Haste isn't rare at all. Most rms max Heap and Haste first. And what does it matter how long GT lasts when you're with a rm? They'll just cast it again. No reason to use 45 EQ.

the penalty for using dual swords is not using a shield.. (duh) a shield adds awhole lot of def and that is actually a trade..shield for a sword

I meant a penalty as in a lower attack speed.

Tenko: it only works when you're in a party, and that doesn't work well for ALL situations
