why not something like:
max str, 60~80 dex, 40~50 sta?:x

str: dmg output
dex: speedcaps ok
sta: defrate and skilltraining, anti crit

your speed will never reach a blade 'neeways
your skills won't ever be as damaging as knights as will your def not be
your yoyos basedamage stinks, so does the speed :x
the jester armor isn't as high as knight too (eh?) :x
your imbues should work kind of ok :o
as for the crit buff too :o
your hits will be more damaging tho
and your crits will be more too :o

and i love this smily :x just as this one :o

I want to be Ranger 1v1 and a little bet of AOE when i hit 65

is 2:1 Dex/STa enought ?!

dont i need some STR to make my Hit better ?!

@blacktiger hmm if youre going bow acrobat (which i hope you are from you stats) you should cap your int there and then go 4 dex 2 sta every 3 lvls. You can change it to suit your style
(more dex= more damage from reg arrows more sta=mobbing)

I thought about making an Acro as they look rather fun, thanks for the guide i think it will save me from the terrible fate i see all the other Acros go through.
I saw a Lv70 Ranger today he was pwning on PK server so hard, hes like Flaming Arrow FTW!

Too bad Acros don't get early AoE like Assist if they did they would be such an awesome class.

As you can tell by my signature, I'm making a Yocrobat, I think I'll use the STA/STR, can you advise me on how to distribute my stat points after I class change?

Read: the middle way. This is a combination of the two extremes and the most common build. High dex and mid sta. You wont have the orgasmic damage rating of a full Dex, nor will you have the monster def.rate of a full sta, but you'll be killing faster and not dying as much as either of them. Means of attacking are either Junk arrows or just normal attacks, I suggest Junk Arrows.

Upside:
-Doesn't die as much as a full dex
-Faster killing speed then a full sta
-levels reasonably quickly [/b]

I've read the whole thread but...and im' pretty interested in this build. Mind telling me how to up the stats each level? Or what are the ratio?
And i guess High Dex and Mid STA is ...3:1 DEX:STA ? Which means.
2 dex -- (next level) -- 1 dex , 1 sta -- (next level) -- 2 dex ...repeat ...

A Dex/Sta/Int build would be something like.. (for me I'd do it this way at least.. if I wanted a DEX/STA/INT build)

3:2 or 1:1 DEX:STA
20~30 INT (Just for the MP pool)

Since I'm a complete NOOB... for a bow acrobat if I wanna go with the mid build, which stats should I lv first? You say 30 int but start of with 12, and sta little (not much how much little is) and rest to dex

Int should be the last stat you add. Any int you add is strictly for your horribly low MP pool. As others have mentioned, you can survive without it, but the refreshers you'll need...

First and formost, concentrate on dex, followed by sta, and if you really feel the need, int.

then i'll get 25 sta and 25 int,
then i put 1 dex: 1 sta (it would be 36:25 i believe when i start doing this 1:1 every level thing)

or should i just stop when i reach a certain amount of sta?

My bow acro build was starting with...

Sta 22
The rest all in dex
Add +1 to sta every 10 levels

Its fairly easy leveling I use high lv food that I buy at cheap prices or loot. Skill training is also pretty easy if you spam skills during some general or office quests. Having a arek ring or a rare bow makes leveling extra easy aswell.

all of you i have a good suggestion....

by reading all of the topics and by the help of digital i have obtained a great build just for BOW ACROBATS...

this build might help you a lot with not just a quick kill but also AOE build when it reach the arrow rain..

15 str
80 sta
++ dex (meaning all dex if you have reached 80 sta)
15 int

why 15 int??? just buy refreshers and dont be afraid in using more penya with that because the penya will return with more exp and have lots of lootz....

hope i could help you out BOW types (because this is also my build and it rockz alot)
