So which one would you say is better? Jesters look pretty sweet so I might try one....except they get no AoE which kind of sucks...but oh well

It kinda sounds to me like one should go with a Ranger buiild, then buy a Restat Scroll at the job change. That would definitely help IMO.

And you could go Ranger build then restat. But unless you plan to buy the restat scroll with real cash, it's not that easily obtained through penya like most ppl tend to think, as it's quite expensive (8-10mil).

I'm going to be a jester and am currently going dex>str>sta
But I accidently added 1INT bringing my INT to 16...

Will that 1INT affect me at later levels? =/

not likely, 1 point won't make that much difference, and spending 10+mil to change that one point would be a waste.

Because they say stuff like Lv15 set selling for 200~300k when you can get it for 150~200k on Aibatt.

More people on Lawolf Cluster = better chances for selling higher, simple enough.

The LV30 & 45 sets go for around 250K for the gloves, hat, and boots, and suits go for 1-2mil most of the time.

Although once I saw a LV45 Misty Helmet for only 90K... That guy must've been feeling extremely generous. God bless him.

My friend did it. She does something like 1.7k damage with maxed junk arrow.

She also has a sta ele to cover her ass.

I suggest you make friends with a knight.

if you have DEX for yoyo...like lots...do the yoyos return to you faster or not?

Hi, I currently have a level 69 Ranger and a 55 YoYo Acrobat. The YoYo is definitely much slower to level and I am using a skill spammer build - 40 STA rest STR. Crossline is mastered and enemies are stunned often but killing speed is still rather slow and I am still deciding whether or not to try out a hybrid build with my restat.

My equip consists of a +6 Pulley and an extra 12% attack rate from 3 piercings and a Bow Acro of same level can outdamage me easily with JA and mediocre items. However, once you hit level 65 and gain your critical buff you will notice an incredible difference in DPS. I have seen it and Jesters definitely crit more than any class in the game and it looks like it makes up for the slower attack speed. Of course, this will require a dex or hybrid build. You may only have 2 of the Jester buffs stacked to my knowledge and that is a +damage buff and the critical. You can't have both blood and poison enchants active, that is for sure.

Read: the middle way. This is a combination of the two extremes and the most common build. High dex, mid sta and low (to base) int. You wont have the orgasmic damage rating of a full Dex, nor will you have the monster def.rate of a full sta, but you'll be killing faster and not dying as much as either of them. And, if your smart enough to invest 15 or so points into int (highly recomended) you wont be spaming pots as much. Means of attacking are either Junk arrows or just normal attacks, I suggest Junk Arrows.

Upside:
-Doesn't die as much as a full dex
-Faster killing speed then a full sta
-less money towards mp pots because of the 30 int
-levels reasonably quickly

i didnt put even 1 stat into int and i can survive..when an assist buffed me wif lv 20 MS, it didnt make any diff.. only like 100 mp the most which is useless..spamming refreshers IS the better way

therefore, i tink this build is better (i took it from ur guide and removed the int part)
