Sorry for the really late response but, as was said in the guide it depends what you have available to you. If you have a RM to help you level or an FS or alot of money to upgrade etc etc, Dex build is probably best. If you don't have all that available, Str build is better because you start with more Sta, preventing you from dying more often. Dex build deals with less Sta, so you would die more often with cheap equips or no FS/RM to help you level. You don't have to go exactly by the guide, it's just to help you have somewhat of an "idea" about what stats to have around those levels.

ok well i have been folowing this guide for 11 days now and im lvl 55 and geting worried. I want to go AXE because they look cool but i have heard that 66 dex just wont be enough. If i am going AXE will 66 dex be enough or should i get more?

Also in your opinion are axes or swords better? and for what reasons?

sry for so many questions im just about to hit level 60 and need to know.

one minor adjustmen i may add, i just hit 22, and im full dex atm and i have 57 dex, in your guide it says you have 56 at lvl 22. just wanted to point that out for you

I could be wrong, but it's actually the other way around. You need sets and high priced swords to be good with str. When was the last time a noob at lvl 45 had 8m to throw around. I am going 80dex and40 rest str, maybe even keep raising dex. Keep the free restat/reskill they give you in v7. Then at lvl 90, or even 75. If you get enough money to get the horribly expensive items AND a PERMANENT rm can you switch to full str, or even high str. Low dex on a blade is useless. The items and assist do help, but if you don't want to depend on these then go the classic route.

what should your hit rate be at? I think going at 66 dex and using swords will help, but how much would I miss? I also heard that going up to 115 dex is nice at 75+, for guys who solo and don't sell cash shop items all the time, is this good?

it is fine for a blade, with buffs etc, you can easily get 100 attack speed. they are just points that could be used in str that would kill mobs even faster. but keep in mind this is just a textbook blade build, that does not mean you cant deviate from this plan. feel free to do what you wish

66 seems plenty high to me. I have 66 dex, and with 2 SoSS's, full Rescorn, and a weaksauce Arek (I think it might be Arek+3), I'm at 92% speed. I'm unfunded and relatively poor, so someone with money could be even higher, since they could buy a better Arek (or two better Areks, depending on where the speed break is), get +Stat from upgrading their set farther, possibly a Dexion if they're REALLY loaded, and still have a speed boost from Dretas or extra dex from GSwords. Now, I don't know if you still get the speed boosts from higher level weapons, but by that time, I figure you're pretty much RM-dependent, so you'll have them constantly Hasting you anyway. Not to mention you'll also have Berserk for when you need that little boost.

Hi,

My mercenary stat now are:
Strength: 30
Stamina: 38
Dexterity: 25

I read in the post that at lv 60 the stats for a blade have to be:
Strength: 57
Stamina: 40
Dexterity: 66

Is it still possible to become a blade with my stats? Also which stats do I have to raise first?
Dexterity? And then strength? I guess the stamina I must keep at 38 for a while and finish it in the end at 40.

Can somebody help me out?
