It happened again, and my screenshot thread + some important help for me have disappeared. :/

What exactly is the cause of this problem?

sometimes, in some forums, there is an option where you can setup how long a thread or a topic will last. after that, those threads and/or topics will be deleted. but im not sure about this forum since i use invision
