What a great idea.
Now I can change all the sounds in the game =D
And maybe even switch around the noises certain monsters make =O
Like switch Luia and Mr.Pumpkins!

I don't play with sounds, I play with music. But this is pretty neat.

PS: Could I use my mic to record random sounds to put in for, say, a Luia?

Provided you switch the current file with a file that is the same it should work
For example, say the Luia die sound is called: DeathLuia.wav This being the case, you need to record sound and save it as a .wav file and name it DeathLuia.wav (can't remember what it is exactly, or if it's even a .wav file)
Once you have the sounds you want saved, you can copy them into the flyff sounds folder replacing the old sounds.
I would strongly suggest that you back up the original sounds, say like, copying the entire sound folder into your "MyDocuments" somewhere in case you want to revert to the original sounds. This can save you a lot of hassle remembering which ones you changed, and possible having to download the program again and go through tons of patches just to play again >.<

I tried that once, it immediatly started downloading patches (the amount of files I changed) and when the game started it was all default again.

BUT you can do it while the game is running and it works

Or use the method for bypassing the patcher.
