Well I dont think it's meant to be the best - as long as you can explain why its good and why it works for you, then its a good build.
A full str build is basically "hit as fucking hard as you can and try to level fast purely because of the damage you'll be able to deal, regardless of the danger your char may be in (from low sta/dex)".
In flyff, the damage you deal involves a lot of percentages. With pierce, it adds a percent. Refine adds a percent. Upcut stones/link attack and that girly crap add percentages to your damage too.
To make the most of these percentages, you need to have the base attack high so that when adding percentages of a high number ontop of a high number, you get an incredibly higher number.
If your attack was lower, a % increase won't be as effective as if you had higher base attack before shit likes percentages come into it (or atleast the ones that count a lot).

If you still can't understand this forumla, just use this example.
1) You work at McDonalds making 6 dollars an hour, and now your boss tells you that hes going to give you a 20% raise....
Sounds great right, now imagine this
2) You work at McDonalds making 20 dollars an hour, now he tells you that you're going to recieve a 20% raise....
Obviously scenario 1 is a low STR blade. Recieving damage increase by multipliers when your base damage is terribly low doesn't mean much.
But in scenario 2, when you have an extremly high BASE number which gets multiplied, you will see a huge difference.
