Does anybody else here think that a half STA half DEX build will work for Yoyos? XDDD Since they'll like... never die. o.o; Dodge + Health. Yeah.

You'll suck alot, your damage sucks(since yoyos depends on Str), dodge sucks(dodge isnt really working for your info.), aspd sucks(the base weapon aspd is slower than axes -.-). You want tank? Better off as a Knight.

Well, I dunno.
If you wanted to spam skills like hell then yea I guess a pure STA or a DEX/STA build might work.
Since, you won't even be using regular attacks.
It would be costly though.

No, you just wont notice the evasion for a long while to come.

Anyways, yo-yo's base attack is so horrible that your better off skill spamming. Hence, add str and screw (for the most part) dex.

sta/dex is a much better combo for archers.. at the moment I have 18-32-35-32 as my stats...... I may stop adding int soon though ... a tanker acro is super powerful... it plays like an ele build mage only I kill faster than mages my lvl.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but my ranger at lvl 65, with 110dex, 40sta and a +5 bow still loses to a lvl 65 elementor with a +0 staff in damage (aoe).

did you try using silent arrow on them eclipse? or using dark illusion and scampering around them? a elementor with high sta and highly trained skills is a pvp beast. and pve beast. I was an elementor last beta and it is the coolest class. but anyways. If you had enough sta to take an elementor hit you probably couldve stayed alive long enough to win^ provided you used the right methods.

How come you added str? :blink: I thought bowcro>ranger didnt need str since bows dmg is based on dex.

For the yocro skill spammers, wouldnt you want more of a sta/str build? yes you probably wont always be skill spamming so youd want at most 30 dex and the rest in sta and str. man this sounds A LOT like the skill spamming assist>bp <_<

yes.. jester plays like a billposter only without the buffs and without the aoe, and ranger kinda plays like an elementor.

(I added str at lvl 15 as I was gonna go for yoyo at first and decided after a few experiments that it wasnt my optimal weapon)

Oh please, try using some simulation of an example.

When I was talking about the dmg, I was talking about the damage of the aoe on a REGULAR monster.

And also the fact that spell damage ignores DEF, having anything lesser than 2.6k hp would lose.

Look at it this way:
If I start out by using dark illusion, and then cast silent arrow (which seems like a good tactic), chances are, the elementor can throw in a spell before your silent arrow is casted. If you cant survive the blow, you lose.

And also, silent arrow is not a 100% sucess rate skill (as with any status-inflicting skills) which makes it seem even less useful as it is.

Not forgetting that it might not even last 10secs, if you can deal enough damage within that period of time (since you would have lots of sta to prevent being 1hit-KO from a high sta elementor) would mean that you need more fire-power, which is not possible if you have that much sta to begin with.

Oh, dont even start with Psys. 1 spirit bomb = assured death for a non-knight with lesser than 80sta or so.
