Knight Guide: Level 65-78
By: Thanatos
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is for people that have already become level 65 and have unlocked their AoE whether it be sword or axe. I recommend using the axe AoE Power Stump, but that’s totally up to you. It’s also up to you whether you wish to level your merc as a 1v1 build, or as a skill spam build. The skill spam build is more expensive at first because of the FP pots, but you do not have to purchase a restat at 65.

Useless Crap About My Character/This FAQ
First off let me just let you guys know a bit about my Flyff character. I am a level 89 Knight (closing in on 90). My favorite class in the game is the Knight because of their sheer defensive power and ability to AoE huge amounts of mobs easily with a good FS. I write this guide because, while I understand I am definitely not the highest level Knight on Flyff, I still like to help people who are concerned with what to do, what to fight, and how to level up their Knights.
In this guide I will try to help you lower level Knights as best as I can with information, what equipment to purchase, how to optimize your equipment to AoE the most mobs possible while taking the least damage possible. Anything that you, the readers, think would be helpful to add are welcome to PM me or post.
For the sake of trying not to overwhelm you Knights with what equipment you will “need” to level up 13 times, and save you the trouble of not having to search for all your armor all at one time I will write the guide in order starting at level 65 going to level 78.

Optional But Helpful
If you can get your hands on 2 Mountain Cards and some Gpros then you will be able to +8% your Defense on your level 62 suit. The suit will be more than sufficient for AoEing from 65 to 68, after 68 add +3 electric to it, and the defense on it will be quite a bit better than the level 68 suit, and comparable to the 74 suit. This may end up saving you alot of time and trouble searching.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let’s Get Started
So you’re a level 65 Knight. You’ve worked hard to get here and now you have unlocked your new AoE abilities. First of all let me recommend from the start that you use an axe to AoE. The ability to AoE all mobs in a full 360 degree radius, and stun with a 15% chance at level 10 really makes it more worthwhile than the sword AoE. You have 3 options now as to what weapon to use. You can continue to use the level 60 TwoHandedAxe, you can spend a bunch of penya to purchase a powerful Guardian Ambidextrous Axe, or you can buy the level 65 GreateAxe. The GreateAxe is NOT that much better than the TwoHandedAxe when both are +3, so the choice is yours. I, myself, was lucky enough to have my RM give me a Guardian Ambi. Axe. The reason it is very useful is that you can use it pretty well all the way until level 88 if you want to.
Now that your weapon is chosen, you should worry about armor. The first Knight set will work just fine up until level 68. You should begin immediately AoEing Captain Cranes at 65. With high STA you will be able to stay alive to take the whole spawn with an RM. There is no real equipment changes necessary from 65 until 68 because you will be able to easily stay at cranes and level. At 68 you are able to buy a whole new Knight set, if you want, or use your 62 set.
Look around at personal shops and maybe do some shouting for your 65-68 set. It’s the Keimay Set for males, and the Keriphis Set for females. If you went and bought the Keimay/Keriphis Suits then you should now invest 3 Voltage cards to +3 your suit with electric element. If you're keeping your old suit then you're fine anyways. The next 2 sets of mobs you face are water, and then after that Carrierbombs are electric which means you will be able to nullify a good amount of their attacks for 0 damage. It is possible to use mixed pieces of both available Knight sets if you cannot yet find the full Keimay/Keriphis set. Just MAKE SURE that your suit is +3 electric, and that your entire set is +3 for upgraded armor. If you haven’t already then +3 your weapon also.
Fishies:

Let me make it clear that I recommend an RM from here on out. If you were able to AoE cranes without one that’s fine, but buffs and healing become extremely helpful. With your new upgraded and elemented armor you are ready for Sylicas (also known as Fishies). The small and captain mobs have excellent spawns and are perfect for AoEing. I recommend staying at the smalls for as long as you can, because the captains will retreat at low HP and that can add extra time and wasted FP to your AoE. As always repair weapons and equipment as necessary. You’re going to want to stay at fishies until level 70 because the EXP is still not very bad at level 69, and the spawns are still great.
Greemongs:

Now that you’re at level 70 it is time to say goodbye to the Sylicas and move on to Greemongs (they are located in the pools just east of Darkon, and west of Sylicas). They are big blobs of golden goo. Do not AoE the smalls because they will shoot you and retreat from your AoE, it makes things terribly annoying. The bottommost pool has a spawn of normals and captains which rivals the Sylica spawn in how close-spaced it is. AoE as many as you can, and experiment with quantity. You should be safely able to take the entire normal spawn, so you should mix up some captains into it. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a walk from the normals at the top of the pool to the captains at the bottom. Stay here and level until you are level 72. I know it seems odd that you will be the same level as the Capt. Greemong’s are, but the EXP really isn’t bad at all.
Carrierbombs:

Level 72 now, so head back west and south to the Small Carrierbomb spawn. Also, if you want to, start shouting and looking around for your new set, which you can fully equip at level 74. It is the Egofin Set for females and Eldine Set for males. Unfortunately the smalls are all by themselves and secluded from the captains, but the spawn is still great. You do not have the opposite element benefit like you did for the Sylicas or Greemongs, but you receive a neat new bonus: some of their attacks (I’m not sure on the exact percentage) will be nullified for 0 damage due to your electric armor! Keep on AoEing here until level 73. You will only level once this time, instead of 2 like the past couple mobs.
Mushpoies:

Now it is time to move on to Mushpoies. They have a great spawn, are high level which means you will be at them for awhile, and guess what! They are water, so your electric suit is still getting it’s money worth! You want to head over past Hoppres and close to Darkon 3, now fly to the eastern spawn (I believe it’s the most east on the map). You will find a very nice level 79 Mushpoie spawn. Now they are 6 levels ahead of you, so damage will be worse than what it has been in the past, but you will also be leveling fast. Try not to take too many as they still do some damage even with good buffs and your electric suit. You’re going to want to level at regulars until level 76 or so and then you can start mixing in level 80 Captains with them for more EXP. Stay here until level 77 or 78. Read ahead if you want to leave at 77, skip if you don’t.
Optional:
All right, so you’re level 77 and tired of Mushpoies. Now you can move onto Watangkas OR you can take a chance and go to the mines to fight Pinkies. I, personally, went to Pinkies at 77 and I did well with half of the spawn and then gradually moved up to the full spawn around 79 or 80. Watangkas are water just like the last few mobs so you have the advantage against them again, but their spawn is worse than that of Mushpoie’s. AoE them until you are level 78 and then you are ready for the mines!
Note:
Because of the simplicity of leveling from 78-88 in the mines I do not plan on adding that into this guide. All you must do is AoE Pinkies from level 77-88/89. It’s that simple, and there really doesn’t need to be a guide about it. I suggest planning on the future of your Knight because around 88, 89, or 90 (depending on how long you stay in the mines) you will PROBABLY want to 1v1. You can either go buy a Recorn/Rescorn set, try to get it to +8 for the 100% speed, or you can use a Warpon/Warspon set for the nice 1v1 bonuses, OR you can use regular set pieces. I don't recommend the Wees/Weeshian set at all. Period. It's not worth the 50mil+ you will be spending on the full set. Tenko has written an incredibly handy guide to optimize your builds and see how to get high speed and accuracy. Check it here:
