I've made quite a few level 60 guys now none of which were power leveled in any sense of the word so I said, "why not share this info with the guys that seem to have a real hard time leveling". There are three main things you must remember when trying to level.
1st: Level distribution Parties are evil <FS will kill me for this I know>
2: Your brain needs sleep and food; your bladder needs empting once in awhile; its a good idea to shower at least once a day
3: Contrib parties are good but full contrib parties are better.
Notes:
-This is using a vagrant that doesn't have a 2nd char cash cow so you start with 0 penya, 3 lolliops and 2 cookies.
-You don't have cash shop items to sell so you're poor for most of your vagrant days
-Your luck at finding drops is typical not abnormal so you'll find about 4 greens and a few PDs in your entire 1 - 60 days
PART 1-The Vagrant
So lets begin with the good old vagrant. After playing around with a few builds like all str, all stam, stam + str etc this is the build that I've found to be the fastest. I call it, the Ricky build although no build is original, but its a mix of str, stam and dex focusing on stam early, dex mid ways and str at the end.
As a vagrant, don't buy any clothes or weapons. The drop rate is super high and you will find eqipment for your gender, but even if you don't, the quest that gives the dunkard hat and vagrant suit are great. They're a must to do.
Points Distribution
Here's my points distribution for vagrants
Levels Str Dex Stam
1 15 15 15
2 15 15 17
3 15 16 18
4 16 16 19
5 16 16 21
6 16 17 22
7 17 17 23
8 17 17 25
9 18 18 25
10 18 20 25
11 18 22 25
12 19 23 25
13 20 24 25
14 22 24 25
15 24 24 25
First you'll notice that I only have four columns, thats because INT is not needed for vagrants so no points should ever go there. The build starts off as 2 points stam, 1 point dex 1 point stam, 1 point str 1 point stam, 2 points stam, 1 point dex 1 point stam repeat until stam gets 25, then no more points go to stam. Then it focus on dex until dex gets 24, then the last levels go to str. Reason is high stam early (when you're poorest) = less food+less resting. High dex = faster attack speed+higher hit rate. This is better than pure str because with that build you die  OR you'll spam food which you don't have money for meaning you'll die. A pure stam you won't die but you'll spend 5 minutes killing a small aibatt. Stam and Str is good, but you miss alot meaning you'll still need to food spam OR skill spam which adds FP pots into the equation = money you don't have.
With my build, your attack speed is fast enough to kill without skilling and you don't need to food spam. Use swords always UNLESS you find a +2 or greater axe. The dex attack speed + sword means you crit the mob more and you have a better chance to attack lock them (they don't get time to attack you). This helps a lot in saving food. With an axe attack rate is slower which means attack lock is less likely and chance of crit per minute is lower because you attack less.
Enemies to Kill
Ok, so you have the build but what can you do with it? From levels 1 - 5 you kill same level mobs (mainly because you don't have money for food). Levels 5 - 10 you kill 1/2 levels higher. Levels 11 to 15 you kill Lawolfs  You could go and kill Femferns at 14 if you want but I just stick with lawolfs cause there's the very small possiblity that some high level assist would buff you in that area.
Misc notes while you're a vagrant
- NEVER EVER join a party, regardless of how sexy that guy looks in his female char
- You don't need to buy equipment. The mobs at that level don't have enough damage to seriously hurt you if you follow the build. If you're level 10 and still haven't found the level 11 sword yet then you may buy that but nothing else.
- Do the Dunkard hat and Vagrant suit quest
- There're about 3 or 4 of the level 7 - 14 quests that give 20% exp. Note that not all of them do. You can do those if you want but getting a bonus 20% isn't that great at that level since you get 20% pretty easy anyways.
- If you die, DON'T lie there screaming "ress". You don't loose exp until level 10 and you make it back in one or two kills. In fact, when I want to go town after leveling I normally attack three or four mobs so they kill me and click lodgestar.
- At level 11 mark lodgelight for ress. Since you'll be at Lawolfs from level 11 to 15 it's really nice to have it marked.
- There're three quests from the office that gives 20 town portals scrolls, 20 vita drinks and 40 refreshers. Its advisble to do those quests. Depending on your second class you'll choose if you want vitas or refreshers. For my assist I did both.
Part 2 - 2nd Class
What you can kill will depend heavily on you class. Stam base classes like knights, or aoe builds (elementors, rangers, BPs) should do 2 levels higher until Saint morning (level 19). 3/4 levels higher until level 30. 4/5 levels higher until 40. 6/7 levels higher until 50. 8/9 levels higher until 56. Then Spiders and cranes until 60.
The 1v1 classes (dex bp, blade mercs, 1v1 psys, jesters, Dex rangers) should stick to 1/2 levels higher for most of there leveling and do a max of 5 levels higher unless you get rich.
Points distribution
Point distribution is going to be different for each class so I can only give general pointers. If you're going to be an aoe class then put most of your points in stam  Whatever your attack power attribute is (dex rangers, int elementors, strength Bill posters, Strength knights) take that to no more than 50 and everything else in stam, unless you're a Ranger/BP where you may want to add a little intelligence (no more than 20).
The reverse for 1v1 class. Keep stam at no more than 50 and add the rest to your main attack attribute (Int psychippers, str billposters, str yo yo). The exception is well all of them except psys. Blades, Dex Billposters and Jesters all need that 3rd attribute dex so the general build for them is Stam around 40, damage attribute around 40 - 60 and the rest in dex.
Misc Notes for 2nd Job
-Do ALL the office quests after Mantis. So thats from Jacks onwards. The ones before aren't neccesary but they're good to have. For me, if I level before getting all the quest items I moved on to the next mob, but after mantis get them even if you level.
-Get your quest items BEFORE the level requirement so you can hand them in as soon as you level. Although the quest may say level 21 - 24, if you hand them in at level 24 you only get like 10% exp. If you hand them in at level 21, you get your full 20%.
- DON'T EVER join a level distribution party unless its a friend who you know will kill as fast as you. What normally happens in level distribution parties is one person needs to go to the "potty" for about 15 minutes (don't know what they do in there) then when they return they "gtg". In a contrib experience is not "leeched" even if the other person goes afk. Yes they still get exp, but you get all the exp for that monster + bonus exp for having them around which means you get more even if they afk than you would get if you were to solo the monster without the party.
- NEVER kill a monster with someone. If you're in a party and your partner can't kill the mob you're fighting, then go to smaller mobs. You get more exp when you solo kill a Driller and your partner solo kill a driller than if both of you kill a volt.
- You need advance parties from 50+ or you'll go insane (unless you're an aoe assist)
- You don't NEED to party until you get to Darkon (Leyenas). If you can find a nice contrib earlier then great but the exp without a party is still good until about level 47ish before things start to get pretty slow.
- Element armor from level 51 is your friend. Buy 2 level 51 suits and 2 level 55 suits. 51s should have earth and wind element. 55s should have Water and Fire elements. Wind element for all earth mobs (drillers, capt drillers, cranes), Earth for lightnight mobs (normal drillers, small volts, capt volts), Fire for wind mobs (normal Elders, captain elders) and water for fire mobs (Spiders). By elementing, the damage you receive will be reduced by A LOT and you'll be able to handle those 9 level higher mobs without spending millions on food.
- Always try to find an advance party from 50+ and try to make friends with the leader (talk to them, make jokes etc) so they'll want you in thier party again. If you get about 3 or more people in your friend list you can almost always get in an advance party when you log on.
Part 3 - Other
A reasonable time to get from level 1 - 60 without power levels for an active player is about 21-28 days. A hardcore player can do it in 10 days or less. The fastest I've ever got to level 60 was 14 days but I played like a demon during that time. 7 hours on weekdays and 12 hours on weekends = 2x((7x5)+(2x12)) = 118 hours.
Most people that say "brb" while in a party are not really comming back. If it's a contib party that's not really a problem because you'll still get your bonus exp just by having them there, but if you can find another active partner then go join that person. If the original guy does eventually return you can go back to where he is.
This guide is not for FS assist. I really have no idea how they level. For all FS assist you can follow the vagrant part but for 2nd job just fly to the highest area your level would allow you (19 levels higher) and go "pty plz" until some nice hearted guy feel sorry for you and let you leech him. OR you can go to an area around your level where level distribution is not leeching and party there. Also aoe assist seem to love FS assist so where ever you see someone aoeing just ask if they want a healer.

Office
All office quests after level 17 give experience, which is great. I recommend you do all, however the Redmatis quests requires more items that your leveling normally allows, as in youll out level the area unless you get really lucky. I normally get about 9 15 cardins before I out level the area so I skip that one and move on to Jacks. All the others I do. The idea is to have the items before the quest is available, that way you can hand them in as soon as you meet the level requirement instead of being forced to kill same level mobs.
This rule is negated once you become 50+. Thats when you kill what ever your advance party partner is killing so dont worry about quest items then, but still make sure you have all the knighters, wheesus and especially Droils so those last levels (55-59) wont be so hard.
Scenario Quests
These are a must do for money. I did the first three scenarios quests consecutively starting from level 19. Sernario 4 I did at level 51 (with an elemented suit) but it depends on what type of char you are. The hardest mob in scenario 1 is level 22 (Wassacs), scenario 2 has no mobs and scenario 3 give a choice to kill either Mias (24) or Pumkins (26). Depending on how much you level you can decide, but I did Mias so Ill also be getting the quest items while doing the scenario. In scenario 4 the hardest mob is captain driller (level 60).
Misc Notes on Quests
- The small version of the mob has the highest drop rate for quest items (15% compared to 10% for the other two). If youre simply killing the mob for the drops, then kill the smalls even though the captains give better experience. This may happen if you reach the quest level, but dont have all the drops yet.
- Dont out level your quests. By that I mean if the quest requirement is 33 (Rockmuscles) then it is better to have all 30 quest items before you reach level 33, but if you dont then try to have them while youre still level 33 (by killing the smalls, refer to point 1 in this section). You retard your progress a lot if youre killing mobs that are lower level than you (example a level 34 killing level 33 mobs) and the reward would be 15% instead of 20% and is reduced every level over the starting level. If you find youll out level the quest, then abort and move on to the next mob. Youll get more experience per time spent on the higher levels than you would on the lower level mob.
- Many of the general quests are a waste of time. They normally give the worse version of the equipment for your level (farlight sword instead of turtle sword) and have you killing same level mobs. Its best not to do these, but if you want to break the grind a bit then go ahead, just dont do the mantis quest ever (Best Cuisine). That has to be the worst quest in the game. The Bang quest is an exception because it rewards a ring. For this quest I blink to Faris and kill the captain bangs there. More spawns and lower level chars which mean they spend more time killing than you.
- Im not familiar with the new quests so I cant add them, but the one killing mias (Missing girl) is great since youll kill mias around that level anyways and it gives a ton of experience and a necklace I think.
