Is it possible that i can be a lvl 62 BP with the Sardine set (probably around the +8 area)?

The 15% aspd looks too good to pass up and i think with the cookie cutter build Str:XX Sta:30 Dex:43, i would be able to get 100% aspd.

The only problem i see myself having is with health, so i will probably have a unicorn + good gore.

Has anyone done this before?

Dont use the Sardine, use the Tailin (15% Crit), go for a shield with Aspeed as they are more common than Critrate shields. Use a H Knuckle and that set, it can probably get you over 30% Critrate. I believe Talin also has INT, which would increase Stonehand

It's 10% crit. And it's +5 int, which would mean 10 second longer stonehand.
I plan to use talin at lv 75 when I get an HK. I'd end up with at least 44% crit with buffs and equips.

I've done it at Lv69, as well as trying a full sayram set. I've since moved on to an awakened setup with a Lv15 npc suit and three sayram pieces.

Helm-7str
Suit-13%atkspeed, 7int
Gauntlets-5%atkspeed, 200MP(buffing without needing mp pots is ftw)
Boots-50FP, +50FP.

This, with an atk rate shield, outperforms both the sardine(atkspeed shields are quite common) and the talin set(on its own, the 10% crit isn't THAT great >.>). The offensive bonuses of those sets are extremely mediocre, and it's pretty hard to die with my gear. I use demol +12s, vigor and arek +3s, and a Gore +6. I haven't died in four levels of grinding and gianting in that gear. So if you're getting a pet, get one that improves your damage instead.

I guess i'll try to find a really good atk rate shield.

Would i be able to reach the 100% aspd mark with a talin set, 43 dex (63 with max buffs), max haste, g-nuck (hopefully +8 ) and a atk rate shield, say one that gives me 10% atk rate.

Ecclesiastes, i probably won't be able to find such uber gear lol.

I think i can borrow my friends demols and vigors though.

About the pet, i might not need a unicorn because i pop star candies and pills like M&M's.(back in V7 ;o) I think a dragon (atk) would be better than a lion (str) right?

Not sure what you mean by 10% atkrate. If you mean 10% of your current atk, then I see what you mean. But atk shields are raw atk values, like 5-125.

Quite the contrary. It's far from uber, and I made it all myself. Bought the suit for 2mill because society can't seem to get away from their atkspeed shield.

The demols were a gift, though I've since made more than enough to buy them myself, and the boost to dps isn't that much of a requirement.

The overall point is this: My suit is better than the full sardine set, and my shield is better than the Talin. This tells me that both sets are fail, and you're probably better off gettin like 40-50 npc suits at various levels between 3x and 5x, and trying to make a set yourself from cheap clean green pieces. I use a mix of sayram and npc myself, so it could work out better than a full assist set.

Lions are sta pets, and tigers are the str ones. And someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think str gets counted in atk piercings, while atk awakenings don't. I tested a long time ago on my Knight with an 8% suit, but I really could be wrong.

Tiger (STR) is better than Dragon, also holds a higher resale value.

Also I would ignore trying to awaken lv15 blues, but instead find cheap Talin pieces and awaken them. This way you'll have the 10% Crit and neat bonuses if you get lucky.

I wouldn't go for an Atkrate shield either, let's say you find a 100 Atkrate shield, this equals 20 STR. Atkrate-awakenings don't get amplified by an Atk % suit. Lets say you have 28% Atk-pierced suit, the Atkrate from a 20 STR shield goes from 100 to 128. But, the Atk-awakened shield will remain at 100.

Ecclesiastes, i would try to awaken my stuff but if i use it on cheap ones, wouldn't i have to +8 it? (since the item is so low and i need the extra bonuses from +8). Or is your stuff just regular +3?

Imma try to get some cheap equip though and awaken them. Hopefully i can get some good atk speed ones

When i'm level 60 and i have 63 dex (43+20 from cannon) and a max haste, i will already have 81.5% aspd, with a g'nuck would be 96% aspd if the calculator is right. Then, couldn't i just get an ok shield, with at least 4-5% attack speed, and get a talin? That would be 100% aspd and i would have the 10% crit from talin.

With a G knuck, your attack speed is perfectly fine. Don't worry about spamming awakenings to get that last 5%; I daresay you'll never notice it anyway.

I think as long as you have over 90% atkspeed, you're fine as far as stunlock and attack speed goes. I'd suggest increasing your damage at that point.

You can awaken anything atm. I'd go for good awakened Talin pieces, then +8 them.

So the optimal Dex is actually 28 or 33 Dex. Of course with the new

Awakenings, you can get that out of your Equip, and still dun have to stat

any Dex, it's kinda easier to just stat Dex, and get crit/crit dmg Awakenings
