Scruffz is just mad that he couldn't sign up his 15 alternates.
Yep 15 of them.... like ima sit online with 15 chars waiting to make 15 bloodys.... sure.
But when i was in the top 50 on the first list, and end up not getting on at all... and people are sitting with 2 - 3 alts who for sure signed up after me, i dont c a reason not to say something..

Its bullshit like i stated before.
Dude, they had two options:
1. Keep the original list and a very serious security vulnerability, or
2. Reset the list, fix the vulnerability, and take the sign ups from that.
Which would you choose in their position?
P.S. If you say option 1... you're in dire need of a reality check.
Also, read this. Hopefully you'll awaken to what it says, and what it means.
Quote:
It seems like a lot of people in this game have a sense of entitlement. By that I mean that they feel that other people or the world in general owes them something.
I first noticed this in-game. People ask to party, or for penya, or whatever, and when they are told no they ask again and again. Assists will regularly be full-supporting someone and don't have time to buff someone else, and can be polite when they say no and still get cursed at. Talk all you want about it being an assist's "job" to buff - they're doing their job already. And the fact remains that even if people *are* doing a job badly, you don't curse at them.
Then I came to the forums more regularly and saw it here as well. Over the course of several months, some people have shown that they not only want but expect the GMs to cater to them specifically - to their desires and schedules regardless of what works for other people. And when things don't work out for them, they place blame where it shouldn't be as they lash out in anger, and they accuse people of purposefully working against them to make things hard for them.
No, I'm not talking about everyone here. There have been people who have behaved really awesomely even in the face of discouragement and they are to be commended. But there are some people definitely who don't.
And to those people I say: life is hard. It's often brutally unfair, and the world doesn't owe you anything. Your parents might have catered to your whims but that does not mean that other people will. And when they don't, it doesn't mean that they hate you or are out to get you. It just means they happen to think that you're not the center of the universe.
To complain about something when it doesn't work out for you makes sense. It might not always be the best way to handle things but it's understandable. And making suggestions about how things could work better can be helpful. But please make sure that you're doing things in a nice way, instead of an accusatory, "poor-me" fashion. Not only will you come across as a person who is more mature and more able to cope with life, but you might find that you're more able to get the results you want. And regardless of results, you'll probably be a happier person, more at peace with others and yourself.
Id say keep list 1... Some of these people's chars getting deleted would be hella funny, seeing as they would have nothing to do irl and would prolly become depressed for sometime to come.
And to all the people spending upwards near $5k + dollars on pixels, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT NEEDS A REALITY CHECK PAL.

The magnitude of how pathetic you are cannot be put into words.
Your mentality and those who share it with you is the reason Flyff Officials are filled with as many whiners as it is.

And how hard would it have been to give other servs beside Lawolf the chance that the people who were on the first list and even on the 3 - without know tehre was a 2. -. a chance to get their weap.
You had the list, just a simple copy/screenshot of it, only take on the next list as many places which were left on the first list before you closed it and fill the rest up with the people from the 1. List?
Thanks to this shit, no telling in Client wasted a day 1,5 exp getting the fucking items needed and got screwed cause of the inabilty of gala/ a GM.
And quit this life is not fair shit, it just piss the people off even more of the failure of Lexi for not beeing able to make a copy of the first list.

1st list had some invalid entries. They do not have the time to sort through which ones are invalid and which are not. You underestimate how much time GM's have to waste doing tedious tasks like that.
And what is this strange expectation to be notified in-game? There are no precedents for that shit. I would agree on the point of why is Lawolf the only one, but whatever. Not my event.
3. A bug in the list caused data loss, which in turn translates to people who were signed up no longer being signed up. This is unfortunate, but complaining about it will change nothing. The event will proceed as it is currently outlined.
Wasn't the real reason that someone found a pretty serious security hole that allowed them to sign up fake names on the list? The wipe probably wasn't even necessary :| could have just deleted the offending names, fix the security hole and carry on with business.
