On a side note, rangers don't actually need Quickstep be higher than lv. 3 to hit and run. Given that starts to get slower in terms of exp over time once you get past cranes, (greemongs, maybe the small carrierbomb spawn at best, but that's it) Fast Walker should give you that 50% speed for enough time to get the kill done. because cranes have low enough hp and huge enough spawn to make it count.

Also, speaking from personal experience, you don't need 60 sta to AoE as a ranger, some even go full dex, depending on their gear. With 30 sta I managed to AoE 8 levels above my own (trees) without my suit on. Because of the block rate. Higher sta means your dex bonuses will kick later than they can. personally, the high hp bonuses are welcome the moment you decide to go to Azria - the amount of spawn there means you'll be taking quite a bit of dmg, even from blocks alone. But you can get up to pinkies before worrying about that.

However, if you're into tanking a huge spawn, your partner must work on their Cat's Reflex buff. It shows a lot on a ranger, acting almost as a second Heap.

Only if you make it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I personally think 60 stamina is a hefty amount, but is perfectly suitable for pre-75. If you have decent Arek rings (I'd say +6 since +9 are outrageously expensive) then you can afford to keep 60 stamina until much later on. It would certainly come in handy later on if you were to ever get to the v7 mobs.

Other might think differently though, and say that having 60 stamina is wasting valuable dexterity points that would otherwise be amping your block rate up. This is where your own preference needs to come into play.

Here's a suggestion--put in a fair amount of stamina to make a generic build... say, 30~45 stamina. As you level up, if you feel that you are severely lacking defense, add a touch more, and if you get up to 50~60 stamina, cap it and pump dexterity. Don't forget that plugs & elements help tremendously. If you're having trouble tanking, you could probably get away with plug +3's. There's a pretty large difference in damge intake with no plugs to equips measely +3's.

Hope some of this is helpful ;x

A long time ago I H&R-ed with my Ranger. Not only that casting skills made monsters catch me and my RM`s maxed QS wasn`t enough, casting FW also spent time. And FW is only 14 seconds long, that`s not enough to finish a hit and run AoE, unless Flyff is a cassette and you`re pressing "forward" on your video O:
