Default Logical PvP Changes - 09-28-2008, 05:35 PM


REGISTER TO REMOVE THIS AD

Lets think of some logical changes that should/could be made to Flyff to make PvP better and more fair/fun. Such as:

-Remove Ringmasters hero/master skill that teleports you to a town and replace it with a sneaker/satan skill. Why? Because then it would make RMs actually worth something in PvP, you could hold your enemy in place and merka them.

-Make Sneaker/Satan not 100% castable in PvP. Why? Because its annoying that a skill that powerful works everytime.

-Reduce Asal/HoP PvP dmg. Why? Because 1hKO is not real PvP.

-Give Knights SOMETHING in PvP. I would give knights the Blades Hero skill that increases defense 300% since knights are the real tanks...

Thats all I have on the top of my head, what ideas do you guys have that would improve PvP?

Note: This thread is about PvP, not PK.

I must say, thank you for saying "in PVP."
I got really tired of people saying that Satanology should be nerfed to 20% in both PVM and PVP. Do that, and all high int psykeepers would be pretty angry since they can no longer level well...not that they did so in the first place. Nerfing it in PVP makes sense though.

As for your list, I agree with it. For knights though, I think the class as a whole needs a boost in order to do better in PVP.

First, when satan is maxed it only has about a 65% chance of working. So it isn't a 100% guarantee.

Second, a RM's purpose in something like guild siege is to tank/survive and HC. So I think something more beneficial would be similar to holycross, only instead you double buff times, atk power of a target for a limited time, or something like that.

Okay I kinda agree with the RM point.

Do you mean sneaker and satan is 100%? Because it isn't at all, satan fails more often then sneaker fails though.

Anyone decent enough who has a 'PvP' build can tank a HoP, Asal may have to be nerfed but meh who cares.

Lol ermmm defense doesn't matter in PvP tbh only against Blades or BPs using sonichand and that is about it lol.

Yeah. Defense does nothing for skills, unless you include magic defense for spells.

To make things fair, no skill or class should ever be nerfed. Otherwise people would complain. The best solutions are to power up the other classes.

Right, but if they had a skill to make your character freeze and take a mouth full of merka, they could join in the combat as well. plus I'm not only talking about guild siege/war, I'm talking about PvP as in Arena/Duel as well. 1 on 1 lets give the FS RM a chance to really put up a fight.

They could just cast stone hand, attack with knuckle, stun them, cast merkaba, then continue with stunlock. Or, they can just look for people who are already sneakered/sataned and then use it.
Have them double merkaba damage! Or at least have INT add more damage per. The rate it's at is stupidly low.

Give blade some range skill menz Dx



And no guilltine sucks when your pvp so don't go there

HoP is easily tankable compared to Asal, I wouldn't nerf it. I do agree on Asal though.

I also agree on a new Hero Skill for RMs, but iunno what to change it for.

I'd like 50% chance for Satan working in PvP and changing Sneaker to its old version.

That would be ok imo. o.o

Isn't sonic blade ranged? I mean you can cast it with no target right?

And what's a knight with more def in pvp?
absolutely nothing.

Make pain reflection reflect back 50% of the damage, like before.
And make hit reflex work like it should work, so mercs/knights have a 1hit ko skill too.
Hop damage shouldn't be lowered, it's good the way it is now.
But asal should be nerfed.

If HoP and Asal were nerfed, then obviously blades would be the best PVPers because instead of killing in 1 hit, they can kill in about 5, except that they deal about 5 animations per second

Thats blade dance silly, and requires swords which most pvp blades use axes

And I'm talking abour ranged moves not aoe moves, say a knight sneaks me and just gets close enough to do his keenwheel while I cant even do mine cause he's being a puss to get near me
